The idea of setting up a Club in Costa Rica goes back to the Spanish Club President Klaus Bohrer. He got to know Melvin Pereira, who was convinced by the idea of a Club in Costa Rica and then founded the Club in May 1998.

Since then, the members meet at least every four weeks and around 50 enthusiasts have slipped into the fold. They are organizing events on a regular basis.
