Porsche and Michelin look back on a longstanding and extraordinarily successful partnership. Through its pioneering developments in the field of high-performance tyres, Michelin is contributing to Porsche being able to meet its customer requirements. Every Porsche is guaranteed to have superb handling characteristics. This is due in no small part to the fact that specific tyres are manufactured for each individual model. The main link between the car and the road, the tyre is designed at an early stage in the vehicle development process.
Currently, in motor sports, Michelin equips the 911 GT3 Cup racing cars for the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and all Porsche Carrera Cups worldwide, the 911 GT3 RSR and 911 GT3 R in the various international GT Sport Championships, as well as the Porsche Sports Cars in the Sports Cup.
