911 Carrera
Build your own

The 911 Carrera T.
Fewer kilograms equals more agility and contact with the road is more important than ever. The 911 Carrera T is a commitment to purism. A conscious release for increased driving pleasure.

911 Carrera T Highlights.

Weight reduction.

The 911 Carrera T has a performance focus thanks to its reduced weight. Simple but effective measures were taken for these savings, like lightweight glass, the removal of the rear seat assembly and less sound insulation.

Sports seats Plus.

The upholstery of the seat cushion and backrest of the Sports seats Plus is firmer and they offer even better lateral support compared to standard sports seats. The seats surrounds are covered with smooth leather, with the seat centres in Sport-Tex. The headrests bring even more highlights, available with embroidered '911' logo or optionally with an embossed Porsche crest.

PASM sports suspension.

With PASM sports suspension, the body is lowered by a further 10 mm compared to the PASM chassis. The springs are firmer and shorter, and the anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles are stiffer. The spring rates have been significantly raised, providing even greater performance focus of 911 Carrera T on the road.

20/21-inch Carrera S wheels.

The 911 Carrera T stands on 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels in a 10-spoke design, painted in Titanium Grey (high-gloss) and made of lightweight alloy. The wheels and tyres on the rear axle are wider and larger than those at the front. While the broader contact surface optimises performance, the larger diameter of the rear wheels increases stability and comfort.

GT sports steering wheel.

The emotions of motorsport in your hands: with a thumb rest and centre top marking as well as spoke trims in a unique design. The GT sports steering wheel with multifunction makes clear reference to the motorsport genes of the 911.

7-speed manual transmission.

The 7-speed manual transmission with the Sport Chrono Package ensures a very close connection between driver and car, thanks to short distances with optimum connection between the individual gears. Just like the optional manual transmission on the 911 Carrera GTS Coupé, the 911 Carrera T also features a shortened gear lever. The result: sporty, short gear changes for increased driving pleasure.

Sports exhaust system.

The sports exhaust system brings impressive resonance and an intense sports car sound, typical of the 911. It has a central rear silencer, which emerges in Black tailpipes to the left and right of the license plate on the 911 Carrera T.

Exterior design.

The exterior mirrors, trim strips, rear lid grille and the 'PORSCHE' logo on the doors in the accent colour Agate Grey all highlight the sporty character of the car. The two variants of the rear logo also have an Agate Grey finish, with a choice of '911 Carrera T' or the very purist '911'.

911 Carrera T interior package.

Sports interior. Numerous details such as the seat belts, accent stripes on the seat centres, decorative stitching and embroidered '911' logo on the headrests are available with a choice of Slate Grey or Lizard Green as accent colours.

Timeless design, contemporary interpretation.
The shape of the 911 Carrera is unmistakable because of its iconic flyline and elegant roof lines. These have characterised Porsche since 1963, as have sports cars with astonishing performance.

Car body shapes.

Coupé.

The Coupé version of the 911 embodies Porsche DNA in its purest form: the long, flat bonnet, the steeply inclined windscreen. And the roof line that slopes gently down towards the rear, already characterised the original 911.

Cabriolet.

The open-top variant of the 911 has always been characterised by a heightened feeling of freedom and plenty of fresh air. When closed, the Cabriolet has the elegant silhouette of the 911 Coupé models – thanks to its fully automatic fabric hood.

Targa.

The most stylish 911 model has the addition ‘targa’. With its characteristic roll-over bar and innovative roof concept, the 911 Targa is a timeless classic. And at the same time it is an open-top variant of the 911 with the comfort and safety of an enclosed car.

Design

An icon in a world full of icons.
The design of the 911 is timeless and its design language is universal, because the principle behind it keeps it to the absolute essentials, right down to the last screw. Form follows function. The 911 continues to bring this tradition into the future with its long lineage.

The exterior in detail.

A design that unites traditional and modern. That ensures more dynamism on the road. And causes a sensation for everyone who follows the 911.

Design DNA.

Typically 911: the long, flat bonnet, the steeply inclined windscreen and the roof line that slopes gently down towards the rear. The wings are more clearly shaped, the rear is powerful and clearly emphasises the horizontal.

Light strip.

The seamless light strip with LED technology between the three-dimensional LED taillights characterises the appearance of all 911 models. And makes them unmistakable, even at night.

Targa bar.

An eye-catching and defining element of the 911 Targa models: the roll-over bar. It meets the highest safety requirements and has its own iconic character: with bar trims made of Aluminium, lateral gills and the original ‘targa’ logo.

Wheels.

Agile and progressive: the 911 also appears particularly athletic due to the different wheel sizes at the front and rear. The up to 20/21-inch wheels offer more stability and comfort with the larger diameter on the rear axle.

Front headlights.

The shape and position of the main headlights are also reminiscent of the first 911 generations. The latest LED technology is used inside them.

Bonnet.

The bonnet with its characteristic dynamic recess profiles – and its straight slope to the front apron – is a reference to the earlier 911 models.

Door handles.

The door handles are partially recessed, allowing them to blend extremely discreetly into the car's image.

Wheels.

Information about wheels can be found here.

Tradition meets innovation: the interior.

Analogue precision combined with digital integration. The 911 interior combines old strengths with new possibilities and, as a sports car, is one thing above all: strictly designed for the driver.

Timeless design.

Progressive technology.

360 degree 911: Interior design.

The interior in detail.

Sports car ergonomics.

The analogue rev counter is positioned in the centre of the instrument cluster and, therefore, always in the driver’s line of sight. The ascending centre console ensures short distances between steering wheel and gear lever, and the intuitively placed switches and buttons. All for the unmistakable sensation of driving a 911.

Porsche Advanced Cockpit.

High-resolution displays, touch-sensitive buttons, consolidated functions. Thanks to the Porsche Advanced Cockpit control concept, the 911 interior has never been so focussed. Typical sports car: the buttons, which have been consciously kept as analogue buttons, offer direct access to essential drive and chassis functions.

Instrument cluster.

Left and right of the analogue rev counter are two high-resolution 7-inch displays with essential vehicle information – enhanced by the high-resolution 10.9-inch touchscreen display of Porsche Communication Management (PCM).

Materials.

From the gear selector to the air outlet: every surface, every detail is carefully considered and in high quality. There is virtually no end to the combination options of available material and equipment – your personal taste is the limit.

Built for the road that never ends.
Every 911 has the same fundamental aim: driving. As sportily as possible. That’s why the twin-turbo horizontally opposed engine, the transmission, the chassis, the brakes and all the control systems are designed for one thing: the highest performance.

Models

Porsche - Engine
Engine
The engine of the 911 models has a twin-turbo configuration. Its stand-out qualities: exceptional power across the speed range, extraordinarily direct responsiveness and a wide torque plateau, even at low speeds. The horizontally opposed construction, with its short length, low height and position in the vehicle rear allows for a low centre of gravity. The engine mounts near the centre of the car ensure greater stability and fewer vibrations.
Turbochargers.
The engines have two turbochargers and charge-air cooling. It’s an important element of the exhaust turbocharging and greatly contributes to simultaneously increasing performance and reducing emissions.

Transmission.

8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK).

The 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) enables incredibly swift gear changes without interrupting the flow of power – in milliseconds. PDK combines a very sporty tuning in first to sixth gear with efficient overdrive ratios (seventh and eighth gear).

7-speed manual transmission.

The 7-speed manual transmission ensures an extremely direct link between driver and car: thanks to short distances with optimum connection between the individual gears. In conjunction with the Sport Chrono Package, the dynamic throttle-blip function in active Sport or Sport Plus mode ensures an even more emotive driving experience and sensational sound. The 7-speed manual transmission is standard on the 911 Carrera T and available at no cost only on the 911 Carrera GTS Coupé.

Porsche Traction Management (PTM).

All-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) optimally distributes drive force between the permanently driven rear axle and the front axle. For excellent drive and an incredibly harmonious handling right at the limits.

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

PTV Plus is a system intended to improve driving dynamics and stability. It works with a precise application of the brakes on the rear wheels and a rear differential lock. For increased stability, outstanding traction and high agility at any speed.

Chassis systems.

More – of everything. The chassis systems optimise the vehicle features of the 911 and make it even faster, more agile and more comfortable.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

PASM is an electronic damping control system that actively and continuously controls the damping force, depending on the road conditions and driving mode, for each individual wheel. For more comfort with increased dynamics.

PASM sports suspension.

With PASM sports suspension, the body is lowered a further 10mm in relation to the PASM chassis. The springs are harder and shorter, the anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles are stiffer. The spring rates have been significantly raised, giving the 911 a more neutral and balanced presence on the road.

GTS-specific PASM sports suspension.

On the 911 GTS Coupé and Cabriolet models equipped with PASM sports suspension, the body sits 10mm lower than the standard PASM suspension, the springs are harder and shorter and the rear axle has so-called helper springs. These additional springs, proven in motorsport, enable significantly more sporty spring rates – without limiting the spring travel.

Porsche Stability Management (PSM).

Porsche Stability Management (PSM) is an automatic control system for maintaining stability at the limits of dynamic driving performance. For a high level of driving stability and safety – and extraordinary agility at the same time. In conjunction with the Sport Chrono Package, PSM is supplemented by a Sport mode. This allows a significantly more sporty driving style, with PSM remaining active in the background.

Rear-axle steering.

Rear-axle steering enhances performance and suitability for everyday use in equal measure; by improving the handling during low-speed manoeuvres and making manoeuvres and turns easier. At the same time, the rear-axle steering gives significantly more driving stability during high-speed manoeuvres.

Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC).

PDCC is an active roll stabilisation system. It suppresses lateral body movement when cornering dynamically. For improved dynamic performance, even more neutral handling and increased ride comfort – whatever the speed.

Sport Chrono Package.

Adrenaline at the push of a button: the Sport Chrono Package with mode switch, Porsche Track Precision app and tyre temperature display. Its functions enable an even sportier tuning of the engine, chassis and transmission.

Mode switch and SPORT Response button.
The mode switch allows you to select different driving styles, e.g. increase the driving dynamics, save your personal preferences or aid driving on wet roads. The SPORT Response button prepares the engine and transmission for a fast unleashing of power for approx. 20 seconds of maximum responsiveness.
Launch Control and motorsport-derived gearshift strategy.
The Launch Control function, with Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) in the SPORT PLUS mode enables the best possible standing start. With the motorsport-derived gearshift strategy, PDK is geared up for extremely short shift times and optimum shift points for maximum acceleration.
Dynamic engine mounts.
This electronically regulated system minimises perceptible oscillations and the vibration of the entire drivetrain, in particular the engine, so that the benefits of a hard and a soft engine mounting arrangement can be used. In short: it enhances both driving stability and driving comfort.
Porsche Track Precision app.*
With the Porsche Track Precision app as part of the Sport Chrono Package you can very easily measure lap times and driving data – using your smartphone. To save, share or compare with other drivers.

* App usage permitted on closed land only. Operation of this product (including the video recording feature in particular) could be prohibited by laws or regulations in specific markets or events. Before any use of this product, please check that this is permitted under local laws and regulations.

Brakes.

The brakes are matched to the high performance of the 911 models. In the 911 Carrera models, four-piston Aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers grip 330mm brake discs. In the Carrera S models, the front axle is equipped with six-piston Aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and four-piston equivalents at the rear. The brake disc diameter is adapted to the increased power output, 350mm at the front and rear. The 911 GTS models have even more braking power: thanks to six-piston Aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers in Red at the front and four-piston equivalents at the rear. The brake disc diameter: 408mm front and 380mm rear.

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).

Lighter, more stable, motorsport proven: the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) provides even greater braking performance thanks to Ceramic brake discs with 410mm diameter at the front axle and 390mm at the rear axle. Another advantage: thanks to the extremely low weight of the brake discs, the traction and the comfort is significantly improved. The six-piston Aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and four-piston units at the rear provide braking forces that are considerably more powerful and, crucially, are exceptionally consistent.

Porsche - Comfort Access.*
Comfort Access.*
Comfort Access enables keyless opening of the 911. Approach the door handle from the side or with your hand under the Porsche crest on the luggage compartment lid and the car will unlock and the door handles will automatically extend.

*Comfort Access uses state-of-the-art technology. However, it cannot be completely ruled out that the key´s wireless encryption code is intercepted and used to open or steal the vehicle.

The Cabriolet models also have the classic 911 silhouette. They are equipped with a fully automatic fabric hood. The roof can be opened and closed in approx. 12 seconds. Up to a speed of 50km/h. It has a fixed glass rear screen and three integral Magnesium elements that make it highly robust and yet particularly lightweight.

The Targa roof concept embodies the ideal combination of safety, comfort and design. When standing, the completely automatic roof system of the 911 Targa models opens and closes in just 19 seconds. The heatable rear screen made from weight optimised, composite safety glass and the sound-insulating roof lining ensure amazingly low driving noise when the car is closed.

The electrically adjustable slide/tilt sunroof, available for the Coupé models, creates even more space in your 911. A large area opens to the outside so that headroom is not restricted. The electric slide/tilt sunroof made of tinted toughened safety glass expands the sense of space, even when closed.

Sound systems.

BOSE® Surround Sound-System.

12 loudspeakers and amplifier channels with 100-watt subwoofers integral to the vehicle bodyshell characterise the BOSE® Surround Sound System. The total output: 570 watts. The BOSE® SoundTrue Enhancement Technology ensures high audio quality and dynamics for compressed file formats.

Burmester® High-End Surround Sound-System.

Sound performance of the highest level, individually matched to your 911. 13 amplifier channels, 13 loudspeakers and an active, separate subwoofer with 300-watt class D amplifier. All together: 855 watts of pure musical pleasure additionally; improved by the sound enhancer that optimises the tone of data-compressed music files.

Well connected – yet still completely independent.

We need to get the most out of every day. Porsche Connect* helps you do this. It puts you in the ideal starting position for every drive in your 911. And the services in the car and the My Porsche app for your smartphone are the perfect co-pilots for your everyday life.

Apple Music.

With Porsche Connect you can use numerous apps on your iPhone via PCM. Thanks to the connection via Apple CarPlay, apps such as phone, music or news, can be easily accessed while on the move.

Navigation Plus.

To ensure that you are always on the fastest route, Navigation Plus continuously accesses Real-time Traffic Information that is applicable to your specific location and produces a forecast based on historic data. Allowing you to avoid traffic jams, thereby saving time.

Always stay connected. Remote Services.

With the Remote Services, you always have an easy overview: access vehicle data or control specific vehicle functions, such as locking the car from a distance with your smartphone.

*The basis for Porsche Connect is the LTE telephone module. It has a SIM card reader for high operating comfort and optimised data connection. In certain countries, you also have an integrated LTE-capable SIM card including data volume. The Porsche Connect range varies according to model and country availability. The information on this page is intended to provide you with a general overview. For service availability in your vehicle, log into the Connect Store with your Porsche ID.

The LED headlights with matrix beam technology deactivate specific segments of the permanent main-beam cone so as not to blind oncoming traffic or cars in front of you. The areas in between and next to them are fully illuminated. The electronic cornering lights illuminate the curves optimally by switching individual LEDs on or off.

Your surroundings at a glance.

The system adapts the speed of your 911 depending on the distance to the vehicle in front of you. The open road. Or the next corner. The 911 provides you with support in the form of multiple assistance systems which allow you to remain truly in the moment.

Adaptive cruise control.

The system adapts the speed of your 911 depending on the distance to the vehicle in front of you. If you approach another vehicle that is travelling slower than your selected cruising speed, the system slows the engine or gently applies the brakes. Even down to a halt. As soon as the road ahead clears, your 911 will accelerate back up to the cruising speed originally set.

Night Vision Assist.

The optional Night Vision Assist uses an infrared camera to detect pedestrians and large wildlife before they are illuminated by the headlights. A thermal image in the instrument cluster warns the driver.

Porsche Wet mode.*

With 'Wet' mode, the 911 uses an innovative system that aids you when driving in the wet. If the sensors in the front wheel housing detect wet roads, the system will recommend switching to 'Wet mode'. The chassis control systems and the responsiveness of the drivetrain will then be adapted to the circumstances.

*The ‘Wet’ driving programme is not a substitute for adopting an appropriate driving manner in different road and weather conditions, and is, at the most, an aid for the driver.

Active Park Assist.

Active Park Assist makes it easier to enter and exit parallel and perpendicular parking spaces, as well as garages by automatically detecting parking spots and independently steers the vehicle backwards and forwards – supervised by the driver.

GTS. Three letters and the insatiable hunger for more.

As with everything you love, there is never enough. But simply the desire for more. Simply 'More of what you love'. And that is precisely the inspiration for the 911 GTS models: more power, agility and dynamics – and a unique sporty appearance. Or in other words: even more Porsche.

Porsche - 911 GTS engines.
911 GTS engines.
Producing 353kW (480PS), the 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder engines of the 911 GTS models represent the peak power of the 911 Carrera and Targa models. This gives the 911 Carrera GTS a top speed of 311km/h. And the 911 Carrera 4 GTS sprints from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package and Launch Control.
Porsche - Front design.
Front design.
Ahead of the pack: the SportDesign front apron with large side air intakes in Black and the unique spoiler lip in Black (grained) underline the performance credentials of the 911 GTS models. As do the tinted LED main headlights with matrix beam including PDLS Plus and the tinted rear lights.
Porsche - Rear design.
Rear design.
Powerful down to the last detail: the SportDesign rear section with extensive Black trim, the sports exhaust system in stainless steel with tailpipes in Black as well as the model designation at the rear in Black (matt). An additional feature of the 911 Targa 4 GTS: both the roll-over bar and the 'targa' logo on the side are also finished in Black.
Porsche - Wheels.
Wheels.
Athletic: the 20/21-inch Turbo S wheels made of forged alloy with central locking in satin Black complete the performance feel of the GTS. 245/35 ZR 20 tyres at the front and 305/30 ZR 21 tyres at the rear guarantee excellent traction and lateral force potential.
Porsche - GT sports steering wheel and instrument cluster.
GT sports steering wheel and instrument cluster.
Tangible emotion: with a thumb rest and 12 o'clock marking, the Race-Tex¹ covered GT sports steering wheel with multifunction controls makes a clear reference to the motorsport genes of the 911. In direct view: the instrument cluster with centrally positioned analogue rev counter and two high-resolution displays that indicate the essential vehicle information on four digital instruments.

¹ Race-Tex is a race-track-approved microfibre material with a high-quality look and feel, similar to suede. It has a comfortable soft grip and offers good hold. It is durable and easy to care for.

Sports seats Plus and GTS interior package.

The race-track-approved Race-Tex fabric is also used on the seat centres of the Sports seats Plus. Another GTS-specific feature: the embroidered 'GTS' logo on the headrests. In conjunction with the optional GTS interior package, you'll receive the Black Race-Tex interior with extended leather features plus decorative stitching and other elements in Carmine Red or Crayon.

Full bucket seats.

The optionally available full bucket seats are made completely of Carbon-Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) with Carbon-weave finish. This provides especially good lateral support at minimal weight. The seat is covered in Black leather – the seat centre in perforated Race-Tex. A perfect finish: the 'GTS' logo on the headrests.

Other GTS highlights.

Sport Chrono Package.

Adrenaline at the push of a button: the Sport Chrono Package with mode switch, Porsche Track Precision app and tyre temperature display. Its functions enable performance focused tuning of the engine, chassis and transmission.

GTS-specific brakes.

Maximum braking power: six-piston Aluminium monobloc fixed Red brake calipers at the front and four-piston Aluminium monobloc fixed Red brake calipers at the rear, and a brake disc diameter of 408mm at the front and 380mm rear, give the 911 GTS models even more braking power than the Carrera and Carrera S models.

911 GTS-specific wheels.

In addition to the 20/21-inch 911 Turbo S wheels with central locking in satin Black, optional 20/21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in satin Black are also available for the 911 GTS models.

GTS exterior package painted in Black (high-gloss).

The optional GTS exterior package painted in Black (high-gloss) adds special accents to the exterior. It includes: the SportDesign Package with SportDesign side skirts painted in Black (high-gloss), exterior mirrors painted in Black (high-gloss), 20/21-inch 911 Turbo S wheels painted in Black (high-gloss) and inlay slats in the rear lid painted in Black (high-gloss).
