What is the ‘Pay’ feature via the Porsche Park app?

‘Pay’ is a feature of the Porsche Park app that allows you to enter, exit and pay for parking all via your smartphone application.

Once you have registered with Porsche Park and added a valid credit card to your account, you will be eligible to use ‘Pay’ via the Porsche Park app.

Note: Your credit card will only be charged when you park at a Porsche Park partner car park.

How do I know the parking rate I will be charged?

Car park rates can be found in the Porsche Park app, via the 'Find a Park' tab. Also accessible in the vehicle via Apple CarPlay®.

  1. Simply select the car park that you are parked in, or want to park in, from the map or list view.
  2. Select the 'Rates List' button to see a full list of applicable rates.
  3. Take note of certain requirements for each rate (e.g. an early bird rate may have entry and exit windows that need to be matched in order to be charged the early bird fee).

Porsche Park will automatically calculate the duration of your parking and charge your credit card based on the car park rates.

How do I reset my password?

The Porsche Park app allows you to login with your Porsche ID. If you would like to reset your password, please do so through the My Porsche website www.porsche.com.au/myporsche.

Do I need to pre-book parking to use Pay via Porsche Park app?

No, you do not need to pre-book.

Simply locate a Porsche Park partner car park. When you're ready to park, you can enter, exit and pay with the Porsche Park app.

*Note: To use ‘Pay’ via the Porsche Park app, you must have created and logged in with a Porsche ID account and registered a credit card in the Porsche Park app.

I can't access a Porsche Park partner car park with the app, what should I do?

If you are having trouble accessing a Porsche Park partner car park, please check the following notifications on the 'Access' screen:

  1. 'No Internet connection detected' - press the intercom button on the ticket machine for assistance
  2. 'Bluetooth is off' - turn on your Bluetooth settings on your smartphone. Entry or exit lanes should now appear.
  3. If the loading symbol is rotating - please ensure that your location services for both your phone and the Porsche Park app are enabled.

If you are still unable to enter or exit the car park, press the intercom button on the ticket machine and request assistance from the car park operator.

All Porsche Park partner car parks have trained operators able to provide the right assistance to get you on your way quickly.

How do I add my credit card details to my Porsche Park account?

Open the Porsche Park app on your smartphone and sign in to your account.

Click ‘Profile’ in the main navigation, select ‘My Account’ and then ‘Payment Options’ to add or update your credit card details.

Follow the instructions on the page to enter your credit card details. You are required to enter;

  • Card Holder Name
  • Card Number
  • Expiry Month and Year
  • CVV

After these have been entered, press the ‘Confirm’ button. The app will confirm that your card details are valid and then display the securely stored card for your reference in the ‘Payment Options’ page.

If there are any problems with the credit card information that has been input, a warning will be displayed, and you will be asked to check and adjust your details.

Once your card has been entered, you can navigate back to the ‘Access’ tab and begin using the ‘Pay’ feature to pay for parking.

*Note: Your credit card will NOT be charged until you have parked at a Porsche Park partner car park.

How do I use the ‘Pay’ feature?

The ‘Pay’ feature allows you to enter, exit and pay for parking all from your smartphone.

To use ‘Pay’, select ‘Access’ from the main navigation and drive to the entrance of a Porsche Park partner car park.

You will be prompted on the Porsche Park app screen to choose your Entry Lane. Select your lane and enter the car park.

*Note: You do NOT need to take a parking ticket from the machine.

When you're ready to leave, open the Porsche Park app, approach the exit of the car park, select your exit lane and you're off!

Porsche Park will automatically calculate the duration of your parking and charge your credit card based on the car park rates.

*Note: To use ‘Pay’ you will need to register a Porsche Park account and add a valid credit card.

How do I create my Porsche Park account?

Download and open the Porsche Park app on your smartphone. Press the 'Sign up' button on the welcome screen and follow the prompts to create your account.

If you have chosen to initially skip the sign up option, you can still sign up at any time. Simply open the ‘Profile’ menu and choose ‘Register’.

Follow the steps to create your account. We will ask for your name, email address, phone number and ask you to create a password.

In the final step to verify your Porsche Park account we will send you a confirmation email. Simply click on the link and you're all set to go!

Don't forget to add a valid credit card to your account to use the awesome ‘Pay’ feature.

How do I remove my credit card from my Porsche Park account?

Open the Porsche Park app on your smartphone and sign in to your account, if you are not already signed in.

Click ‘Profile’ in the main navigation, select ‘My Account’ and then ‘Payment Options’. You will see your securely stored credit card that is registered to your account.

To remove your card, press the 'Remove' button shown below the credit card information.

The app will process your request within a few seconds and your card will no longer appear in the ‘Payment Options’ page.

You can now add a new card or return to the app to use the Search and Navigate functions.

Kindly note that you must have a valid credit card registered to your account to use the Porsche Park app for access and payments.

I pressed the entry or exit button and nothing happened?

Please pay attention to any on screen warnings or alerts. Further action may be required.

If you are attempting to enter or exit the car park, and the 'Access' screen is not responding, press the desired entry or exit lane button again until the animation changes and the boom-gate opens.

If you have tried to press the button several times and there is still no response from the app, use the intercom to speak to an operator who will be able to provide assistance.

What do the map pins refer to?

The black map pins highlight the locations of Porsche Park partner car parks. These partner sites will allow you to enter, exit and pay for parking via the Porsche Park app.

What does it mean when the app tells me to 'move closer'?

If the Porsche Park app requests you to 'move closer', drive forward, closer to the boom-gate. The sensors will then pick up your vehicle and grant you entry or exit.

What should I do if my credit card has expired?

You can update your credit card details via the Porsche Park app.

Sign in to your account and navigate to ‘Payment Options’ within the ‘My Account’ menu.

You will firstly need to remove your existing credit card and then add all details in for your updated card. Once this has been verified, you're good to go!

What is the safest way to drive & navigate with the Porsche Park app?

Porsche Park takes the safety of its customers seriously and has designed the app in compliance with Australian laws. We only encourage the use of our app in the vehicle via Apple CarPlay®.

Prior to leaving & once you have selected your car park destination, the app hands over to Apple Maps and voice guided directions are provided.

Furthermore, the app provides certainty on your parking destination, instead of driving around distracted looking for a free car space.

What are the requirements for Porsche Park app to work on my smartphone?

The minimum requirements to operate the Porsche Park app on your smartphone is iOS version 14.0 or later iOS devices must have Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) version 4.0.

I exited the Car Park but my app has not changed status?

What are the costs of using Porsche Park?

Parking rates can be found in the Porsche Park app, by selecting the car park of interest.

Will my credit card be charged when I register my account?

No, your credit card will not be charged when you register an account.

Your credit will only be charged when you park at an Porsche Park partner car park. There are no charges to your card until this happens.

How do I verify my email address?
  1. Open the Porsche Park app and select the 'Access' tab
  2. Press the 'Verify' button to check your account
  3. If you need to verify your account, tap on 'Resend the link'
  4. Check your email address as shown on the verification page and go to your inbox
  5. You will receive an email from myporsche@porsche.com.au containing a 'confirm email address' button that needs to be selected
  6. Repeat step 2 Note: If you have not received the verification email from myporsche@porsche.com.au, please check your spam/junk folder or speak to your IT administrator
How can I view my parking history?

Simply click ‘Profile’ in the main navigation and select ‘Recent Transactions’.

Here you can see a list of all of your past transactions.

Is my credit card stored securely?

Yes, the privacy and security of your data is paramount to Porsche Park.

Your credit card details are securely stored in full compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

What credit cards can I register with my account?

Currently, you can only register a valid Visa or MasterCard with your Porsche Park account.

How do I change my password?

Simply click ‘Profile’ in the main navigation, select ‘User Details’ in the ‘My Account’ section and select your password to change it.

Can I change the email address on my account?

You can email our support team any time via Your email address is used as the account identifier and therefore cannot be changed without assistance from Porsche Park. Please contact myporsche@porsche.com.au for assistance if you have entered the wrong email address or wish to change your account information.
