Remote Battery Charging Management
Electric range display

Shows you the estimated purely electric range of your vehicle.

Range map display

You can have an approximate graphic depiction of the estimated purely electric range of the vehicle displayed on a map.

Settings for night-time power depending on location

In order to allow the charging of the vehicle cost-effectively at night, a night-time power profile can be defined via the app. This is done in combination with the setting of the charge timer. Up to three night-time power profiles that should be given preference by the vehicle's charging management system can be defined in the app.

Charge state of hybrid battery display

As with the display in the vehicle, the current state of charge of the hybrid battery is shown.

Charge time display

Here you can have the estimated remaining charge time displayed.

Charging plug status display

As with the display in the vehicle, you can have the charging plug status (plugged in/not plugged in, locked/unlocked) displayed here.

State of charge of hybrid battery display

Here you can call up the state of charge of the battery.

Status of external power supply display

As with the display in the vehicle, the status of the external power supply is displayed here.

Activation of immediate charging

This allows you to start or stop the charging process via the app.

Remote pre-trip precool/heat
Precool/heat

This allows you to start or stop the preconditioning via the app.

Precool/heat status

Here you can call up the precool/heat status via the app.

Precool/heat timer

The precool/heat timer allows the programmed start of preconditioning. You can set a single time or program a recurring schedule. The time set corresponds to the end time of the precool/heat. Depending on the battery status, precool/heat can also take place off-grid.

Remote Departure Time Programming
Departure timer

As in the vehicle, you can program a charging time using the app (one time or recurring). The time set corresponds to the end time of the charging process. Optionally, a timer can use a night-time power profile.

Push Info (charging error/vehicle ready for departure/precool/heat error/completion of precool/heat)

If there are status changes in the charging or precool/heat process you will receive a message on your smartphone.

Remote Trip Statistics
Last trip

As in the vehicle, you can view the following data for the last/current trip: E-distance (i.e. distance covered without use of the combustion engine), E-range (i.e. estimated electric range).

Total

As in the vehicle, you can view the following data: E-distance (=distance covered without use of the combustion engine), E-range (i.e.estimated electric range). The data are in accordance with the values stored in the vehicle.

* only for plug-in hybrid vehicles

Remote Vehicle Status
Vehicle position display

You can have your own position or the vehicle's position displayed on a map here.

Route to the vehicle (Carfinder)

A route to the vehicle is calculated from your current location. You can choose between navigation in the public transport, pedestrian or normal road navigation modes.

Individual status (doors/windows/flaps/lids) and roof status

Depending on the vehicle type and systems, the status (open/closed) of doors, windows, bonnet and luggage compartment, as well as the sliding roof status (open, closed, tilted) is shown. You can also retrieve the locking condition.

Service interval display

As with the instrument cluster, the distance and duration up to the next service intervals major maintenance, minor maintenance and oil change are shown.

Current mileage display

The current mileage is displayed.

Fuel level display

Here the current fuel level is displayed in bar form.

Ignition status display

The current ignition status (on/off) is displayed. The ignition cannot be switched on/off using the app.

Comfort and Safety
Crash Notification

If the airbag is triggered, the control unit automatically sends the vehicle position to a Security Operating Center (SOC). The SOC informs the responsible emergency service control center about the accident, which dispatches an ambulance or emergency services. The function is not available in all cases (in particular when the radio is not available). For this reason, you are also asked to communicate with the rescue center manually, independent of this function, if you need medical assistance.

Breakdown call

You have two options to notify the breakdown service via the app (depending on the breakdown service provider and the current mobile network availability):
1. A normal voice call to inform the breakdown service provider.
2. The breakdown call is activated via the app, a data package is sent to the service provider which contains the vehicle's position and the vehicle data. The call by the customer then follows around 10 seconds later so the voice call and the data packet are merged at the breakdown service provider.

Vehicle speed display

Current speed of vehicle is displayed.

Vehicle identification number display

The vehicle identification number (VIN) of the currently selected vehicle is displayed.

Vehicle call

You can activate the horn and/or flashers for purposes of identification/location. The hazard warning lights are turned on and/or acoustic signals are emitted for approximately three seconds.

Speed Fencing and Geo Fencing incl. Push Notification

Speed fencing allows you to set a limit speed in the app (from 20 km/h (12 mph)). An alarm message is sent if the limit speed is exceeded.
Geo fencing allows you to set geographic areas (rectangular) in the app so an alarm message is sent when the area is entered or left.

Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

The latest available information (deviation from target pressure) of the Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) at the time it was last parked, i.e. if the tire is damaged thereafter, the app will not display this. To do this, the optional Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) must be available.

Folding in the mirrors

The door mirrors can be folded in using the app. This depends on the exact equipment of your vehicle.

Locking the vehicle
Function available from 45/2013

You can use the app to lock the vehicle. After executing the command, you will receive a notification whether the procedure was successful. If successful, "Vehicle locked" will appear.

Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS)

Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS) Basic Functions
Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS) Status & Operation

The Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (PVTS) service triggers a silent theft alarm in response to predefined events (e.g. unauthorized movement of the vehicle). This alarm is sent to a 24-hour Security Operating Center (SOC), which then contacts you, locates the vehicle and has it located and recovered in cooperation with local authorities.
You can also report a theft using the app or by making a phone call.
