All Cayenne models can be equipped with numerous assistance systems that further increase driving comfort.

E-Hybrid.

With the current battery generation of the Cayenne E-Hybrid models, the electric range has been increased. In addition, the new electric motor provides superior driving performance in electric mode.

Exceptional inside and out.

Luggage compartment.

Depending on the model and equipment, the spacious luggage compartment offers up to 22.1 ft³ storage volume. The luggage compartment can hold up to 55.2 ft³ thanks to the 40:20:40 folding rear seats. The cargo management system is available on request: a variable system for the secure transport of items in the luggage compartment. It includes two attachment rails integrated into the floor of the luggage compartment and a partition net.

Two engines, one drive: passion.

The powerful output of the electric motor allows for superior driving performance in electric mode on the one hand, and support for the combustion engine on the other, for instance when accelerating.

Driving modes for increased flexibility.

With driving modes specially designed for the hybrid drive, the Cayenne E-Hybrid models develop their potential. Depending on the route and personal preferences, it can be switched between all-electric, the most efficient hybrid, or sport focus.

E-mode and battery.

The lithium-ion battery ensures superior driving performance in E-mode. For more flexibility on the road, the battery can be charged in E-Charge mode using the combustion engine or the high-performance AC charging process.

Driving dynamics.

E-Hybrid.

In the Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne S E-Hybrid, the system performance is achieved through the effective cooperation of the 3.0-litre V6 turbo engine and the electric motor with 174 hp. Here, the powerful output of the electric motor allows for superior driving performance in electric mode on the one hand, and support for the combustion engine on the other, for instance when accelerating. The electric motor is powered by the traction battery with 25.9 kWh.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

PASM allows electronic adjustment of the damping control system and is standard on all Cayenne models. It actively and continuously adjusts the damping force according to the road conditions and driving mode. For reduced body shell movement and more comfort in every seat. The settings available are Normal, Sport and Offroad as well as Sport Plus in combination with the Sport Chrono package.

Adaptive air suspension.

The enhanced adaptive air suspension with full load-bearing air-spring struts in 2-chamber technology allows for an even greater combination of comfort and sportiness while at the same time maintaining the same ride comfort. The level system helps to maintain a constant ride height. By adjusting the height of the chassis, the ground clearance can be varied as required, for example during off-road use. The rear end can also be lowered for easier loading of the luggage compartment.

Chassis.

Whether you're in the driver's seat or a passenger: Driving a Porsche should feel like a sport while still offering great comfort. The Cayenne models manage this balancing act effortlessly: thanks to the enhanced chassis and technologies that adapt the chassis even better to the intended use — such as off-road use. Examples include the adaptive air suspension, the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) for active roll stabilization and the rear-axle steering.

Brakes.

That's why all Cayenne and Cayenne S models are equipped with a brake system with six-piston aluminum monobloc fixed calipers at the front and four-piston aluminum monobloc fixed calipers at the rear. The one-piece, closed construction results in a very high dimensional stability. The pressure point is precise and the braking distance is impressively short.
