WLTP is a measurement and testing procedure that can be used to determine vehicles' consumption. WLTP has been the standard in the EU since 2018. It has resulted in consistent consumption and emission values across all manufacturers, which results in better comparability.
In motorsport, the racing line ensures best times. On your journey, the Porsche Charging Planner takes care of this. The Porsche Charging Planner plans the optimal route for you – including charging stops. The planning adapts to the topography of the landscape and your personal driving behaviour in real time. This makes the range display in the instrument cluster more accurate – so you can reach your destination quickly, stress-free and with as much charge left as you need.
Winding mountain passes, breathtaking landscapes, endless horizons: The most beautiful places to drive a sports car are usually the ones where you least want to think about charging. And that's exactly where our all-electric models are at home. Because our technology wasn't just designed to get you from A to B reliably, it was also developed for maximum driving pleasure in between.
An impressive example of the extent of the range: The Porsche Charging Planner calculates just two short charging stops of around 30 minutes for the 654 mile journey from Berlin to Paris in the Taycan with Performance Battery Plus.¹ And that takes traffic into account – including an offline route calculation as a fallback option. With these values, you could continue on from Paris to Le Mans.
Discover the ranges of Porsche models: With our Charging Map, you can see how far you can drive with your sports car – tailored to your situation.
