Development & Tech

From the first drawing to the finished prototype - our development in Weissach develops and tests the Porsche vehicles of tomorrow and prepares them for series production. The spectrum ranges from design and conception, model making and initial prototypes, testing of aerodynamics, acoustics and electronics, the development of drive systems, steering systems and chassis, safety tests and tests to Porsche Motor Sports.

Battery mechanics

Nina leads the Battery Mechanics department at Porsche. She and her team turn the cell into the cell module, so to speak. They start developing the batteries as soon as they come out of pre-development, with the aim of making them suitable for series production. This requires a lot of design work in CAD, laboratory work and the construction of test vehicles in workshops.

Function Development HV Batteries

As a function developer for high-voltage battery software, Tobi plays a central role in the interface between vehicle projects and the development of our high-voltage batteries. In mobile phones, there are battery functions such as the energy saving mode or the display of the charging status.
