Now take your mobile device and connect it to the HEM WiFi Hotspot. The hotspot is named "HEM-Serial Number". Enter the WiFi PSK which can be found in the Access Data letter.

Open a web interface. Porsche recommends the use of Mozilla Firefox. Enter one of the following options in to your browser:
- 192.168.9.11
- https://porsche.hem
oder
- https://porsche-hem

Some browsers might show a potential risk. Please check, if the certificate is from Porsche Engineering (Czech Republic); if this is the case, you can continue.

You will be forwarded to the login screen of the web application. Enter the credentials you received with your HEM. Select the role of customer service when registering as an electrician. Note that the customer service login is required to commission the Porsche HEM.

The commissioning needs to be conducted by a certified electrician. Your Porsche partner will be happy to recommend a trained expert to you.

Once you are logged in, you will be guided through the commissioning process in just a few steps.

Start by entering the basic settings, like language, country etc. As soon as the HEM has internet access, it will get the correct time from the internet. Nevertheless it is important to choose the correct time zone.

This step contains some legal information, e.g. which data is transferred when you do an optional Porsche ID pairing. Click next to accept it.

To keep your HEM up to date we recommend to activate automatic software updates. For this function internet access will be required (next step).

Connect your HEM to your home wireless network. Please note that your Porsche Mobile Charger Connect and your HEM must be in the same network. You can establish a connection either by entering the WiFi-Password or via the WPS function, or just plug in an Ethernet cable.

Once connected to the internet, information on your HEM can be accessed via your Porsche ID account. Link your account under "User profiles". If you are an electrician or don`t have a Porsche ID you can skip this step.

Choose the local grid type. In this section the number of mains phases that lead from the grid into your home will be selected.

Select the check boxes to activate the current sensors (CT1 and CT2) to their respective phases (L1, L2). Remember to deselect the Checkbox for current sensor 3 (CT3) if your home installation is not a 3-Phase grid. Please keep in mind, the supplied current sensors are rated for 200 A.

Networks can vary and may differ from your home installation.

In case you have a photovoltaic system at your home you can add it in the "home installation: Power sources" tab, the information regarding the type of connection is required for successful energy management. You can order the required additional current sensors at your Porsche dealer.

To ensure that your HEM works correctly you need to add EEBus-devices, which is your Porsche Mobile Charger Connect. The System will scan your network for both devices and list them if it they are switched on. All devices need to be in the same network.

Now you have the possibility toadd EEBus devices (for example, your Porsche Mobile Charger Connect). Click on the "Add EEBus device" button. A popup opens that shows the available EEBus devices. Select, for example, your Porsche Mobile Charger Connect here (you can identify it via the SKI). You can display the SKI of the Porsche Mobile Charger Connecton its display.

Important: Your Mobil Charger Connect must be plugged in and paired to the same network for this step to occur.

Now you have to configure your EEBus device as a new power consumer. Assign a name that will be displayed later on the dashboard. You must also select how many mains phases the device is connected to.

Note: If the EEBus device is connected via an earthed socket, select Single-phase. If you have a Two-phase connection, select Two-phase (split-phase). If the device is connected via a CEE socket, select Three-phase. If necessary, ask your electrician for advice.

In the step "Tariff settings" you are able to enter your tariff settings, and the feed-in renumeration, if you own a PV system.

In the last setting step "Optimized charging", the type of overload protection for several Porsche Charging devices can be determined: balanced, chronological or individual. You can also activate "own consumption optimization" (PV surplus charging) and "Cost-optimized" charging, if desired.

Carefully check the final summary and confirm the settings. Settings can be edited via the web application at any time.
