Porsche China Service Excellence Competition 2018 successfully concludedA True Smile Inspires Excellence

Shanghai/Stuttgart. On 12 December, 2018, the 2018 Porsche China After Sales Service Excellence Competition which took place over 5 months, came to a successful conclusion. A total of 36 finalists from 12 Porsche Centres attended the 2 day final competition in Shanghai, with the Porsche Centre Fuzhou Minjiang awarded the title of “Porsche China 2018 Service Excellence Champion Team”.

“We know our customers value the Porsche brand, and that the Porsche After Sales Trust Campaign Values — Performance Maintained — are key to providing our customers with the programmes and service experiences that surpass their expectations,” said Mr. Fabio Stoelzel, Vice President After Sales of Porsche China. “Through the 2018 Service Excellence Competition, we hope to help the service teams improve their service knowledge and skill through cooperation and continue to provide excellent services to Porsche customers.

Launched in July 2018, the Porsche Service Excellence campaign was aimed at the key service personnel within the Porsche Centre network, including service managers, service advisors and parts managers. A total of more than 1,000 network personnel took part in the 5month campaign. The 2018 campaign invited customers to vote on their individual service visit experiences via a mobile platform, with service teams competing to achieve the highest customer ratings. Each Porsche Centre team competed within their regional group, with the top ten performing teams going through to a regional competition. The regional competition further tested the service excellence skills of each team, identifying the top four finalists from each region.

On 11 December, 2018, the top twelve performing service teams gathered in Shanghai to compete in a final two day national event. Day 1 saw individuals examined on their working day to day skill sets through a range of role plays and technical exams. Day 2 focused on teamwork and was conducted in three competitive knock out stages, covering business growth planning, after sales knowledge testing and in the final round, customer service excellence role plays.

In the competition, Porsche Centre Fuzhou Minjiang won the prize of the Porsche China 2018 Service Excellence Champion Team, by demonstrating their team strength, professional knowledge, commitment and desire to truly deliver service excellence. Its team members, Wu Kaiying, Liu Yinhua, and Chen Lan were presented with their winning team trophy, and will attend the Global Porsche Service Elite Awards Ceremony 2019 in Oman. Porsche Centre Beijing Goldenport and Porsche Centre Ningbo won the second and the third awards respectively. The remaining nine finalist teams were presented with Certificates of Service Excellence for their equally impressive performances in the 2 day final event.

While the competition comes to a close, it is not the end of the journey for Porsche Excellence Service. Mr. Fabio Stoelzel delivered a speech at the awards ceremony encouraging all the competitors to learn from the competition and continue their great work of 2018 in providing each and every customer with an exceptional customer service experience.
