Porsche continues expansion in southern China with the Grand Opening of the first Porsche Centre in Zhaoqing Porsche China continues to enhance dealer network
• The first Porsche Centre in Zhaoqing, with investment from Foshan MountHero Motors Group, held its grand opening ceremony on 6 June, bringing the world-renowned Porsche experience to Zhaoqing and surrounding areas.

• Porsche Centre Zhaoqing covers a floor area of 4,721 square meters, the showroom can display six Porsche sports cars at the same time and the after-sales service area has three work bays and one direct dialogue bay.
Zhaoqing/Shanghai. Zhaoqing welcomed its first Porsche Centre on 6 June 2023 with a grand opening ceremony. Located in Zhaoqing avenue south side in Duanzhou district, Porsche Centre Zhaoqing not only provides convenience for owners and enthusiasts in Zhaoqing and the surrounding areas by offering the full range of Porsche sports cars, but also further demonstrates the growing network of Porsche dealerships and the importance Porsche attaches to the southern market. On the opening day, Mr. Michael Kirsch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche China; Mr. David Xiao, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Porsche China; Mr. Michael Ramsey; Vice President Omni-Channel Management and Development of Porsche China; Mr. Julian Zhu, Director Region South of Porsche China; Mr. Tiger Xu, Board Chairman of Foshan MountHero Motors Group and Mr. Edward Kwan, General Manger of Porsche Centre Zhaoqing were onsite along with many other guests and members of the media to witness this memorable moment and catch a glimpse of the latest state-of-the-art technology on offer.
Porsche Centre Zhaoqing, with investment from Foshan MountHero Motors Group, covers a floor area of 4,721 square meters. The modern, spacious showroom can display six Porsche sports cars at the same time. The comfortable and luxurious lounge, discussion and video areas ensure that every Porsche enthusiast can enjoy top-notch customer service. The after sales service area has three work bays and one direct dialogue bay. A broad selection of extra services and products are provided for customers, including Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, Tequipment and Porsche Lifestyle. In addition, Porsche Centre Zhaoqing is equipped with Porsche’s global standard testing instruments and maintenance equipment. The professional service team will provide each customer with a full range of consultation options and the world-renowned Porsche service.
Zhaoqing is located in the west-central part of Guangdong Province, bordering Foshan and Jiangmen to the east and southeast respectively, Yunfu to the southwest, Wuzhou and Hezhou in Guangxi Province to the west and northwest respectively, and Qingyuan to the north and northeast. More importantly, it is also an important node city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, enjoying unique geographical advantages. The 75th anniversary of the Porsche brand is a time to reflect on how pioneering spirit, passion and dreams have always been at the core of Porsche’s philosophy. The celebrations surrounding the brand's 75th anniversary have been officially launched, with interpretations of the brand's past, present and future taking place throughout the year and across the country. The grandest of these celebrations, the "Festival of Dreams", will be held at the most iconic landmark in southern China – Guangzhou Haixinsha Asian Games Park – for 11 days starting from 8 June, with Porsche fans in Germany and markets around the world linking up to celebrate this important moment. The event will include a live broadcast of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Chinese driver Yifei Ye in the Porsche 963, a gathering of fans and their Porsche sports cars, and a special exhibition on the 75th anniversary of the brand. More than 100,000 people are expected to participate.
