The Ancient Capital of Nanchang Welcomes its Second Porsche Centre Porsche China’s continuing efforts in the Central China Market

Shanghai/Nanchang. On 20 August 2019, the Porsche Centre Nanchang Honggutan held its grand opening ceremony. The Porsche Centre Nanchang Honggutan is located at 366 Diezihu Avenue, Honggutan New Area, Nanchang, Jiangxi province. As the second authorised Porsche dealership in Nanchang – and the third one in Jiangxi – the new centre marks an important move for Porsche in terms of extending its dealer network in central China, illustrating Porsche’s dedication to this important region. The Centre will provide even greater convenience to the many Porsche owners and fans in Nanchang by enabling them to make a purchase from Porsche’s full model line-up, as well as bringing Porsche’s world-renowned service excellence and meticulous customer care to the central China region. Attending the opening ceremony, Mr. David Xiao, Chief Operating Officer of Porsche China expressed his sincere welcome and heartfelt thanks to the dealers, media representatives and customers for their long-term support of Porsche. “Porsche China achieved further success in the first half of 2019. By the end of June, deliveries had increased to more than 40,000, with 28 per cent growth compared with the same period in 2018. All of this success is thanks to Porsche's attractive product range and a steady approach to dealer network expansion. At present, we have 120 Porsche Sales Sites in China, all adhering to the concept of providing superlative brand experience and service to consumers. With the opening of Porsche Centre Nanchang Honggutan, Porsche China has further consolidated its development in the central China market.”

Porsche Centre Nanchang Honggutan has been built to Porsche's global standards and is committed to providing fascinating products and bespoke experiences to its customers. It is spread across 2,962 square metres and includes a state-of-the-art showroom that is capable of simultaneously displaying 17 Porsche sports cars. Meanwhile, the luxury customer lounge, VIP room and entertainment area all ensure premium customer service for every Porsche enthusiast. The Center has 12 work bays and one direct dialogue bay. It uses Porsche's global standard testing equipment and special maintenance equipment, and every onsite Porsche technician has undergone rigorous training and screening, all in order to holistically meet customer needs and provide the strongest guarantees for all Porsche vehicles.

Nanchang is the capital city of Jiangxi Province. Since ancient times, it has been known as “The important gateway to Guangdong and Fujian” and “Surrounded by three rivers and five lakes”. It is the only city adjacent to the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and the West Coast Strait Economic Zone. The provincial capital city is also one of the most important cities in central China and one of the key cities along the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, making this a region that Porsche has always attached great importance to. Adhering to the customer-centered concept, the new Porsche Centre will provide professional technology and high-level services for local customers, while conveying the cultural connotations of Porsche's constant innovation and pursuit of excellence.

Products are a core area of competency for the Porsche brand. On 19 August, the all-new Cayenne Coupé had its official national launch in Qingdao and is expected to be delivered to the market in the end of August. As a brand-new body variant added to the third generation of the Cayenne, the all-new Cayenne Coupé is positioned as more progressive, athletic, and emotional. With many creative design details, the all-new Cayenne Coupé brings a new sports car lifestyle to SUV drivers, attracting younger and more expressive consumers with vibrant personalities. In addition, the 8th generation of the 911 will also receive its national launch and be delivered to the market in the fourth quarter. Porsche's first purely electric sports car, the Taycan, will be launched globally in September and into the Chinese market in 2020, marking Porsche’s definitive entry into the electric era.
