Heritage Design.

It's not a copy or a replica – it's a reinterpretation that pays tribute to the roots of the Porsche brand. Heritage Design stands for modern vehicles with classic detail elements.

Creative vision.

Looking to the future. While not losing sight of the past. This was particularly important to the design team.

Reduced to the maximum.

‘Pure. That was the working title we came up with for the limited edition. And we still find it extremely apt,’ explains Ivo van Hulten (Head of Interior Design at Style Porsche). Scream and shout? Others do that. Porsche is honest, puristic. As can be seen in the tear drop shape of the iconic 356.

Inspiration from Porsche history.

What were the sources of inspiration for the 911 Targa Heritage Design Edition? Original colour charts, design details from the 1950s and 60s, historic cars. And, of course, whatever made people laugh, dance, swing and cheer.

Designing an icon.

The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition embodies quite a story. Everything has its purpose and counterpart.

Back to the future.

A complete work of art. Numerous details. There’s so much to discover and experience. And so much that points to the origins of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition.

The main topic is fabrics.

Corduroy, Pepita, Pascha and tartan – all these historical fabrics and patterns were revived in the interior of the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition. Reinterpreted and in line with current safety and comfort requirements.

The same. And yet different.

In the 1950s, more and more vehicles with Red exterior Paintwork could be seen on the streets. The earthy, puristic look with a Light Brown tone was characteristic of the Porsche Red of that time. The 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition takes up this typical colour scheme and reinterprets it.
