Wiedeking pointed out the reliability of suppliers as being a key success factor: “Our customers expect premium vehicles and have zero tolerance for defects. That is why Porsche only considers those who are prepared to deliver top performance as being worthy of consideration as a supplier. We recognize excellent partners each year with the Porsche Supplier Award – as the standard for all the rest.” The challenges will be even greater in the future, commented the Porsche CEO.
