25 years after it was revealed at the Paris Motor Show, designers, engineers and the test driver who helped create the iconic Porsche supercar reveal the story behind a legend

This is the story of how a dream became a legend. Of how, 25 years ago, a collection of creative minds came together to make a supercar that set the course for the future of Porsche – the Carrera GT.

In an exclusive Porsche film, some of the key figures behind the Carrera GT reunited once again to talk about how it went from drawing board to game-changing, head-turning statement of intent. We hear from Project Leader, Roland Kussmaul, who helped inject Porsche motorsport into the finished model’s road-legal engineering; Michael Hölscher, Head of Development for the project; Chief Designer, Roland Heiler, and Walter Röhrl, a former World Rally Champion and legendary Porsche test driver.
