In order to perfectly prepare you for your charging experience, we have created a selection of services that will help you choose a charging solution for your individual domestic situation. Do you want to know which charging solution is right for you? The result of our Porsche Charging Pre-Check will provide an initial assessment of the possible charging solutions for your home, summarised in your very own “Pre-Check ID”. You can choose to share this with your electrician or Porsche Centre for further advice.

Porsche Home Energy Manager

The Home Energy Manager optimises the charging process in terms of performance, time and costs. Correctly integrated into your domestic power network by an expert, it continually monitors the power requirements of your electric car and the available output of the power supply.

Porsche Compact Charging Pedestal

In empty parking places, the Porsche compact charging pedestal provides space for the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect. It is lockable and a secure way of storing your charging equipment. Alternatively, the Porsche Charging Dock can also be used for fixed installation directly on the wall.

The Porsche Mobile Charger can be used to charge your Porsche with up to 9.6 kW charging power at home.

Vehicle-relevant charging components.

The Taycan is equipped as standard with mechanical charge port doors on the driver and front passenger sides. The charge port door opens with a light touch. You can now easily connect the charging plug. The Taycan comes with optionally available electric, sensor-controlled charge port doors: contactless opening with a hand gesture. The performance battery is the heart of the Taycan. It provides a gross energy content of approximately 93kWh and has a range of up to 450 kilometres, which is suitable for everyday use. Due to its high weight (approx. 630kg), it is placed low down in the vehicle. This allows the vehicle’s centre of gravity to be low and centred.The performance battery is the heart of the Taycan. The on-board AC charger (11kW) converts alternating current with a voltage of 400 volts or 230 volts into 800 volts of direct current. The Taycan comes as standard with a 150kW on-board DC charger. The on-board DC charger converts the voltage to 800 volts for the Taycan battery when charging at 400-volt DC charging stations. A heat pump is optionally available. It uses the excess heat from the vehicle's drive components to heat the vehicle interior. This saves electrical energy – especially when outside temperatures are below 20°C and air conditioning is activated. Depending on the ambient temperature, the desired interior temperature and the driving profile, this increases the range by up to 30%.A heat pump is optionally available. Porsche offers you two charging solutions for charging at home: the Porsche Mobile Charger and the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect. Both can be connected to your household or industrial electrical outlet and the vehicle. The offer is supplemented by the Home Energy Manager, an intelligent energy management system that optimises the charging process in terms of performance, time and costs.

The Porsche Mobile Charger Connect is a charger with a five-inch touchscreen display which you can connect with your household connection or your industrial electrical outlet. It is available with an output of up to 22kW. The device can be configured and operated via your WiFi. Your charger will also come with a holder for convenient wall mounting.

So that you can charge your Taycan quickly and conveniently at home, we offer an intelligent solution, namely the Home Energy Manager. This equipment continually monitors your household's current energy needs and compares these with the available output of the power supply. It controls the car’s charging performance so that your domestic power circuit is not overloaded during the charging process. In the event of imminent overloading, the Home Energy Manager communicates with the Mobile Charger Connect, so as to control the charging process and reduce the amount of power assigned to the charging process, if required.

The Porsche Charging Dock is a particularly elegant wall mount for your Porsche Mobile Charger Connect. When you hook the charger into the dock, it is safely stowed away and protected from external factors. The Charging Dock can be assembled either on the wall or on a separate charging pedestal available as an option. It can be locked and used both in the garage and outdoors.
