Porsche Kids Driving School successfully held at Porsche Centre Doha All participating pupils received a "My First License" and a “Porsche Safe Driving Handbook"

Doha. After its success during the last two years, the Porsche Kids Driving School has returned for 2010 courtesy of Porsche Centre Doha. Now as a permanent fixture, an exciting track including road signs, zebra crossings and traffic signals was set up on the first floor of the Porsche showroom.

Class 2M and 2B of the Sherborne English School were the first to complete the driving program for 2010.

After a briefing by an instructor on road signs and traffic rules, the children were given the opportunity to drive on the track while adhering to basic road safety rules.

All participating pupils received a "My First License" and a “Porsche Safe Driving Handbook" for their parents that gives some useful advice how to safely travel with children.

The Porsche Kids Driving School is available to children between five to eight years. The program combines educational objectives with an entertainment approach. It includes theory lessons on basic traffic rules and road signs as well as a practical driving session on Porsche pedal cars under professional supervision.

The aim of this educational activity is to create awareness about road safety amongst children, and provide an exciting "Porsche experience”, said Salman Jassem Al Darwish, Chairman and CEO of Al Boraq Automobiles Co WLL. “We are extremely proud of the success and are certain that our contribution will help to create safer roads for the greater society.”
