Special traditions stand the test of time: the heart of the 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet still beats at the rear – and sets the pulse of Porsche enthusiasts racing even faster than it did 60 years ago.

3.0-litre flat-6 engine.

The powerful 3.0-litre 6-cylinder flat engine with twin turbochargers will give you goosebumps with its incomparable sound alone. The horizontally opposed construction and the traditional position in the rear end of the vehicle also allows for a low centre of gravity.

Performance.

Peak performance: 353 kW (480 PS). Top speed: 308 km/h. In view of this technical data, a max. torque of 530 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 s, it's highly unlikely that you will ever want to get out again.

8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) in the Porsche 911 Carrera.

PDK.

The 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) allows extremely fast gear changes without interrupting the flow of power – even by a millisecond. The PDK combines sports tuning in 1st to 6th gear with efficient overdrive ratios (7th and 8th gear).

Design.

Clear lines and a muscular rear section create a much sharper character. On the GTS models, the newly designed front apron with striking vertical aerodynamic elements including adaptive air intake flaps provide a further distinctive visual feature.

Headlights.

Expressive and typically Porsche: the new Matrix LED main headlights, including all lighting functions such as the 4-point daytime running lights, increase the distinctive look of the 911 from afar with their lighting signature.

Dynamics.

The PASM sports chassis (-10 mm)¹ with rear-axle steering – and helper springs at the rear on GTS models – increases track performance.

The new Porsche DI user interface sets new standards with intuitive operation, customisable widgets and a modern look and feel.

Lift system.

The optionally available hydraulic lift system raises the chassis at the front by approximately 40 mm – to increase ground clearance at speeds of up to approximately 35 km/h. This makes it easier to drive into garage entrances and car parks and can prevent you from hitting speed bumps. The system also has an automatic lift function at locally programmable points, which are regularly used, for example.

Driving dynamics.

Crucial to the unique 911 driving experience: the optimal set-up. This includes new hydraulic engine mountings, the rear-biased all-wheel drive and a completely revised chassis and even wider wheels to transform the increased power output into breathtaking dynamics.

PASM sports chassis.¹

With the PASM sports chassis¹, the body sits 10 mm lower than the standard PASM chassis, the springs are harder and shorter, and the rear axle for the GTS models has helper springs proven in motorsport – for significantly sportier spring rates.

Rear-axle steering.

The rear-axle steering¹ included as standard with GTS models enhances performance and day-to-day usability in equal measure. At low speeds, it makes manoeuvring or turning easier. At higher speeds, it significantly increases driving stability.

PTV Plus.

PTV Plus enhances driving dynamics and stability by applying brake pressure to the rear wheels, in conjunction with a rear differential lock. For increased stability, outstanding traction and high agility at any speed.

PDCC.¹

For active roll stabilisation, the optionally available Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC)¹ minimises the lateral inclination of the vehicle during dynamic cornering. Providing improved driving dynamics, even more neutral handling and increased ride comfort – whatever the speed.
