Podium for Porsche 919 Hybrid – GT double victory for 911 RSRSports Car World Endurance Championship WEC, round 6 in Shanghai/China
Stuttgart. Great success for Porsche at the six-hour race in Shanghai, the sixth round of the Sports Car World Endurance Championship WEC: The Porsche 919 Hybrid scored third on Sunday at the Shanghai International Circuit with works drivers Romain Dumas (F), Neel Jani (CH) and Marc Lieb (D) in the cockpit. In the GTE-Pro class, the two Porsche 911 RSR of the Porsche Team Manthey squad celebrated the second double victory of the season: Frédéric Makowiecki (F) and Patrick Pilet (F) clinched victory ahead of their works driver colleagues Jörg Bergmeister (D) and Richard Lietz (A).
