The Porsche Museum organising a Painting Contest for ChildrenCelebrating the 100th Birthday of Ferry Porsche

Stuttgart. The Porsche Museum of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is inviting children from the age of 6 to 13 to join in a very special painting contest: Their task is to paint the most imaginative birthday car for Ferry Porsche, who would have celebrated his 100th birthday on 19 Septem-
ber.

The son of company founder Ferdinand Porsche, Ferry Porsche set the foundation in 1948, when building Porsche Type 356, for what is today one of the most significant sports car manufacturers in the world. It was a wonderful tradition for employees to give Ferry Porsche a very special, indeed quite unique car on his "major" birthdays. The Museum is proud to present three of these cars on the occasion of a Special Exhibition celebrating the 100th birthday of Ferry Porsche, which starts on Saturday, 19 September. Ferry Porsche died in Zell am See, Austria, on 27 March 1998.

Apart from attractive prizes, the most beautiful and creative pictures will be presented in a small exhibition. Please send pictures, together with the name, address and age of the young artist, to the following address: Porsche Museum, Visitor Service, Title: Ferry, Porscheplatz, 70435 Stuttgart, Germany. All entries must arrive by Saturday, 31 October 2009. For further information please see the internet at www.porsche.com/museum.
