Porsche steps up yet another notch with the new Cayenne in North AmericaSales continue to increase

Stuttgart. In November 2007, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany, continued to grow its sales figures in the USA and Canada. Its 2,776 deliveries to customers represented an increase of two per cent on the previous year’s figure of 2,723 units. Despite the difficult market environment, this was the seventh time in a row that this manufacturer
of premium sports vehicles managed to surpass the corresponding monthly sales figures of the previous year. This major success is due
not simply to the popularity of Porsche’s sports car but also to strong customer approval for the new Cayenne with its fuel-efficient engine technology. It is all the more pleasing, therefore, that an addition to the series - the Cayenne GTS - will be available at dealerships from February 2008.

For the month under report, the Cayenne accelerated some 59 per cent to 1,294 actual vehicle deliveries. The November figures for the 911 in the USA and Canada came to 876 vehicles – some 20 per cent lower than a year earlier. The Boxster series managed 606 customer deliveries (down 25 per cent), 363 of which were accounted for by the Cayman and the Cayman S.
