Supervisory Board of new Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG constitutedDr. Wolfgang Porsche elected Chairman – Hans Baur is Deputy

Stuttgart. The Supervisory Board of the new Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG met this Monday, 19 November, for its constitutive session. The Board elected Dr. Wolfgang Porsche (64) its Chairman and Hans Baur (55) was appointed his Deputy. Wolfgang Porsche is an Owning Partner and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Parent Company,
Porsche Automobil Holding SE (Porsche SE), Hans Baur is the First General Authorised Representative of IG Metall Stuttgart, the Stuttgart Chapter of the German Metalworkers Union.

The need for re-constitution of the Supervisory Board followed the entry last week of Porsche SE in the trade register, with
Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG now being a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Holding. The new company Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG continues the  operative business.

With the German manufacturer of sports cars having exceeded the threshold of 10,000 employees in the meantime, the Supervisory Board of the new Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG will have 16 members from now on, as opposed to 12 in the past. Representing the shareholders these are Dr. Wolfgang Porsche as the Chairman, Mag. Josef Ahorner, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Lehner, Dr. Ferdinand K. Piech, Ferdinand Piech, Dr. Hans Michel Piech, Dr. Ferdinand Oliver Porsche, and Hans-Peter Porsche. The employee representatives are Hans Baur and Hansjörg Schmierer, both of IG Metall, as well as Wolfgang Leimgruber for Senior Management and Uwe Hück, Jürgen Kapfer, Wolfgang Schönleber, Walter Uhl and Werner Weresch.
Prof. Ferdinand A. Porsche remains Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

As already reported last week, the new Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG will have six Board Members. Apart from Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Holger Härter as the Deputy Chairman and Chief Financial Officer, these are Michael Macht (Production and Logistics), Wolfgang Dürheimer (Research and Development), Klaus Berning (Sales and Marketing) and Thomas Edig (Human Resources and Social Affairs). The latter was also appointed Director of Industrial Relations.
