According to Macht, Sachsenheim’s greatest asset was the size of the area available. This means the sports car manufacturer can make reliable plans for 2010 and beyond. Another deciding factor was the proximity of the suppliers, many of whom are based in Baden-Württemberg, and the connections to international air- and seaports: “The end result is short distances to the 650 dealers worldwide – which is advantageous both economically and ecologically“, explained Macht.
