For the third time in a row Porsche was rated the brand number-one overallJ.D. Power Study confirms satisfaction among Porsche customers in the USA at an all-time high

Stuttgart. For the third year in a row Porsche ranked highest in the USA, the largest export market of the Stuttgart based sports car manufacturer. This is the conclusion to which US market research institute J.D. Power has come as a result of its latest consumer study “Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL).

Having been ranked best nameplate in the organization’s Initial Quality Study (IQS) one month ago, Porsche reaffirmed its standing in performance and design of its sports cars, again beating its worldwide competitors.

Among more than 91,000 purchasers of the new 2007 model-year cars the Porsche Cayman and the Boxster finished for the second time in a row in first and second place in the “Premium Sporty Car” category.

The 2007 APEAL Study surveyed the consumer satisfaction after the first 90 days of ownership of a new car. The Study is based on responses gathered between February and May this year.
