Porsche sports cars drive in the fast lane in North AmericaHistoric high after eleven months

Stuttgart. In November 2006, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, put up a good show in North America, an extremely challenging market environment. With 2,723 vehicles delivered, the figure for the same period of the previous year (2,794 deliveries) was almost matched
(3% less). This means that the manufacturer of premium sports vehicles is still on record course after eleven months of 2006. At 33,148 units, deliveries in the USA and Canada were 7% up on the previous year. This is the best result the Company has ever achieved for this period in
North America.

Porsche sports car models continue to drive in the fast lane in
North America. Sales of the 911 increased by 12% in November 2006 to
1,094 vehicles. There was even an increase of 87% in the Boxster model series to 814 vehicles; including 565 of the new Cayman and the Cayman S. Deliveries of the sporty Cayenne off-road car were down
40% to 813 vehicles due to life-cycle. It must be taken into account that Porsche still does not support plant sales with discounts.
