Heiner von der Laden switches from rails to roadsAdditional support for Porsche Press department

Stuttgart. The Press department of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is welcoming a new colleague to its ranks: Heiner von der Laden (45) is coming to the Zuffenhausen car manufacturer from Deutsche Bahn AG as of November 1, 2006. Here, he will be assuming the newly created post of managing editor in the Press and Public Relations department and acting as a spokesman for the company. Previously, von der Laden was the head of the corporate press office of Deutsche Bahn AG in Berlin. Anton Hunger, PR Director of Porsche AG commented: "We are proud of the fact that we have found another thoroughbred journalist for our team in Heiner von der Laden. With his experience as one of the main editors at Springer Verlag, and also on the corporate side at Deutsche Bahn, he will help to further increase the professionalism of Porsche's press department in its cooperation with the media."

Heiner von der Laden was born in Moers on June 8, 1961. After graduating from high school and completing his military service, he initially worked as a freelance journalist for Hamburger Abendblatt. In 1985, the paper took him on as a trainee. Three years later, he moved to the business section of Bild am Sonntag, also working as head of department from 1993. In 2002, he moved to Deutsche Bahn. After two years as the CEO's speech writer, von der Laden took over as head of the corporate press office in 2004.
