Historical Porsche archive under new management Generation change: Dieter Landenberger succeeds Klaus Parr

Stuttgart. The historical archive of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart is experiencing a generation change. Dieter Landenberger (31) will be taking over management of the archive from Klaus Parr (65) on July 1, 2005. Parr has managed the Porsche archive since 1982 and is now retiring. In his tenure, the history of the sport car manufacturer was professionally prepared, as reflected in a large number of publications. Parr's successor is also excellently acquainted with the historical automotive issues. The technology history graduate, Landenberger, has been responsible for the product history/archive area in the Communications division at DaimlerChrysler AG since 2002.

The history of the company and its products has always been a key component in the public perception of Porsche. According to Anton Hunger, Head of Press and Public Relations at Porsche AG, this will be further strengthened. "In future, the archive will actively incorporate historical topics regarding the Porsche brand into our public relations work to a greater extent. With Dieter Landenberger and his employees, we now have a genuine young and dynamic team on board", said Hunger.

Meanwhile, there will also be an additional development not only in terms of conception, but also in terms of space. In 2007, the archive will move into the new Porsche museum and thus be given a modern home. The thematic network of the archive will also be supplemented with the work of the museum at the same time with this move.
