Dr. Ferdinand Oliver Porsche Elected as a New Member of the Supervisory BoardChange in Porsche AG’s Supreme Supervisory Body

Stuttgart. On the occasion of today’s Annual General Meeting of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, Dr. Ferdinand Oliver Porsche was elected as a new Member of the Supervisory Board of the German sports car manufacturer. He is succeeding his father Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, who is retiring from his office at his own request for reasons of age.

Born in Stuttgart on 13 March 1961, Ferdinand Oliver Porsche completed his MA studies in Law, Publishing, and Political Science at the Universities of Paris, London, and Salzburg, subsequently taking his Doctor’s Degree in Law and his MBA at the University of Toronto. Today Ferdinand Alexander Porsche is a holder of common stock in Porsche AG. He also holds various offices on the Supervisory, Advisory, and Administrative Boards of a number of industrial enterprises in Europe.

The Supervisory Board of Porsche AG has taken this opportunity to appoint Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche to the position of the Board’s Honorary Chairman. In this way the Supervisory Board is proud to honour the lifetime work and achievement of F. A. Porsche, who in particular is renowned as a designer the world over.
