Jürgen Pippig departs – Cypselus von Frankenberg arrivesStaff changes in the Product Press Department at Porsche AG

Stuttgart. As of April 1, 2005, Cypselus von Frankenberg (39), global product communication manager responsible for the S, SL and SLK series as well as AMG vehicles at Mercedes-Benz, will take over as the head of Product and Motor Sports Press Department at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart. Frankenberg, born in Stuttgart, is succeeding Jürgen Pippig (50), who is moving to the Motor Sports Press Department at Audi AG.

von Frankenberg began his career in 1994 at Auto-Media-Verlag in Nuremberg. He then worked as editorial writer for the German car magazines "Auto Magazin" and "Neues Automobil". From 1997 to 1999 he was editorial writer at the BBDO agency in Düsseldorf. Then he moved to the Mercedes-Benz Press Department at DaimlerChrysler AG. He is the son of racing driver Richard von Frankenberg, who in 1952 launched Porsche's customer magazine "Christophorus" and remained editor in chief until his death in 1973.
