There was also a friendly picture with sports cars. Deliveries in April 2004 moved up to 1,705 vehicles (previous year 1,678 units). While the Boxster at 567 units was 22 percent down year-on-year, the 911 with 1,138 units posted a strong plus of 20 percent, the classic car impressively demonstrating its continuing popularity. There was again strong demand for the Cabriolet versions of the Carrera 4S and the Turbo from the 911 model line.
