Proper disposal of electrical appliances helps to ensure the effective use of resources. Cards containing a microchip are classified as electrical appliances under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act. If you no longer need your card, please observe the following instructions.
The symbol on the back of your Porsche Card indicates that it must not be disposed of with household waste. Please hand in the card at a collection point for electrical appliances. You can find the nearest location at your city or local authority.
Dispose of your credit card securely
To protect your expired card from misuse by third parties, we recommend that you make the sensitive information on the card unrecognisable before handing it in at a collection point. You can make your name and the card number on the back of the Porsche Card metal card illegible with a coin, for example. Before disposal, you should also ensure that the card has expired or is permanently blocked so that your account cannot be misused.
