Let yourself be captured by the fascination of Porsche and take a look behind the scenes at the headquarters in Zuffenhausen. Accompany a sports car through the production process on a guided tour of the plant and find out what drives us and it: a perfect symbiosis of tradition and modernity. The new Porsche Production 4.0 - smart, lean and green. You can choose from three different factory tours. Children from the age of eight can take part if accompanied by an adult.

Which areas can be visited as part of the factory tour depends on the operational and safety-related conditions on the day. As a result, the schedule may be subject to change or certain access points may be restricted. Nevertheless, you will always gain an authentic insight into the manufacturing process of our sports cars – shaped by precision, craftsmanship and a continuous commitment to advancing mobility.

We do not offer factory tours on the following days:

On all Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays including bridge days.

Take a look behind the scenes, where the heart and soul of the brand are at home: at the headquarters in Zuffenhausen. Accompany a sports car and a Taycan at selected stations on their way through production and experience the perfect symbiosis of tradition and modernity. Since 2019, the main plant has been producing Porsche's first all-electric sports car, the Taycan, in addition to the 911 models.

Important Accessibility Notice
Factory tours are not barrier-free, they include stairs and ca. 3km of walking. To ensure a safe and enriching experience for individuals with physical limitations, we offer customized solutions. However, these require careful planning to guarantee the safety of all participants.

The Porsche factory shops

Would you like to take a souvenir home with you? You will find our Porsche factory shops at our Development Centre in Weissach and at the main factory in Zuffenhausen. The product range of the shops on the factory premises includes clothing, model cars, Tequipment and Porsche Classic products. Please note that access is possible only via the factory gates. This may involve short waiting times.

FAQ about the guided tours

Can I book a guided tour on the day of my visit?

No, unfortunately the system cannot accommodate requests at short notice for the same day. However, you can ask at the ticket counter whether there are still free places on our open guided tours.

Can I spontaneously join a guided tour?

You can join a guided tour according to availability. However, this only applies to the public factory tours. For all other guided tours in the factory or in the museum, you must book an appointment on our website.

On which days do factory tours take place?

Factory tours generally take place from Monday to Friday. They are not offered on public holidays, school holidays and weekends.

Are walkways in the museum or during museum tours barrier-free?

Due to historical structures, the guided tours in the factory are only barrier-free to a limited extent. The regular walking route is approx. 3 km long including some stairs. Please feel free to email us for further information.

Can I come to the factory tour with my children?

Yes, as a rule children from the age of 8 are allowed to take part in factory tours with one accompanying person each. For further information, please send us an e-mail.

Are there guided tours especially for children?

Yes, we have factory tours specially designed for children. These are currently only available in german. We are stille working on an english version.
