Special traditions stand the test of time: the heart of the 911 still beats at the rear – and sets the pulse of Porsche enthusiasts racing even faster than it did 60 years ago.

3.0-liter flat-6 engine.

The powerful 3.0-liter 6-cylinder flat engine with twin turbochargers will give you goosebumps with its incomparable sound alone. The horizontally opposed construction and the traditional position in the rear end of the vehicle also allows for a low center of gravity.

Performance.

Peak performance: 388 hp. Top track speed: 183 mph. Maximum torque: 331 lb-ft and a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 s, it's highly unlikely that you will ever want to get out again.

8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) in the Porsche 911 Carrera.

PDK.

The 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) allows extremely fast gear changes without interrupting the flow of power. The PDK combines sporty tuning in 1st to 6th gear with efficient overdrive ratios (7th and 8th gear).

Design.

Clear lines and a muscular rear section create a much sharper character. On the GTS models, the newly designed front Fascia, with striking vertical aerodynamic elements including adaptive air intake flaps, provide an additional distinctive visual feature.

Expressive and typically Porsche: the new HD-Matrix Design Headlights, including turn signals and 4-point daytime running lights, increase the distinctive look of the 911 from a distance with their lighting signature.

Dynamics.

911 Carrera GTS models are equipped, as standard, with PASM Sport Suspension (-10 mm) with helper springs at the rear and rear-axle steering, which not only increases performance on track but agility on the road.

Lift system.

The optionally available hydraulic lift system raises the chassis at the front by approximately 1.57 inches – to increase ground clearance at speeds of up to approximately 31 mph. This makes it easier to drive into garage entrances and parking lots as well as navigating speed bumps. The system also has an automatic lift function at locally programmable points, which are regularly used, for example.

Driving dynamics.

Crucial to the unique 911 driving experience: the optimal set-up. This includes new engine mounts, a completely revised chassis, and even wider wheels to transform the increased power output into breathtaking dynamics.

PASM sport chassis.¹

With the PASM sports chassis¹, the body sits 10 mm lower than the standard PASM chassis, the springs are stiffer and shorter, and the rear axle for the GTS models has helper springs proven in motorsport – for more athletic spring rates.

Rear-axle steering.¹

The rear-axle steering¹ included as standard with GTS models enhances performance and day-to-day usability in equal measure. At low speeds, it makes maneuvering or turning easier. At higher speeds, it increases driving stability.

PTV Plus.¹

PTV Plus¹ enhances vehicle dynamics and stability by applying brake pressure to the rear wheels, in conjunction with a rear differential lock. For increased stability, outstanding traction and agility.

PDCC.¹

For active roll stabilization, the optionally available Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC)¹ minimizes the lateral inclination of the vehicle during dynamic cornering. For improved driving dynamics, even more neutral handling and increased ride comfort.
