The new 911 Carrera S
Build your own

The 911 Carrera T.
Fewer kilograms equals more agility and contact with the road is more important than ever. The 911 Carrera T is a commitment to purism. A conscious release for increased driving pleasure.

911 Carrera T highlights.

Weight reduction.

The 911 Carrera T has a performance focus thanks to its reduced weight. Simple but effective measures were taken for these savings, like lightweight glass, the removal of the rear seat assembly and less sound insulation.

Sports Seats Plus.

The upholstery of the seat cushion and backrest of the Sports Seats Plus is firmer and they offer even better lateral support compared to standard sports seats. The seats surrounds are covered with smooth leather, with the seat centres in Sport-Tex. The headrests bring even more highlights, available with embroidered '911' logo or optionally with an embossed Porsche Crest.

PASM sports suspension.

With PASM sports suspension, the body is lowered by a further 10 mm compared to the PASM chassis. The springs are firmer and shorter, and the anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles are stiffer. The spring rates have been significantly raised, providing even greater performance focus of 911 Carrera T on the road.

20/21-inch Carrera S wheels.

The 911 Carrera T stands on 20/21-inch Carrera S wheels in a 10-spoke design, painted in Titanium Grey (high-gloss) and made of lightweight alloy. The wheels and tyres on the rear axle are wider and larger than those at the front. While the broader contact surface optimises performance, the larger diameter of the rear wheels increases stability and comfort.

GT sports steering wheel.

The emotions of motorsport in your hands: with a thumb rest and centre top marking as well as spoke trims in a unique design. The GT sports steering wheel with multifunction makes clear reference to the motorsport genes of the 911.

7-speed manual transmission.

The 7-speed manual transmission with the Sport Chrono package ensures a very close connection between driver and car, thanks to short distances with optimum connection between the individual gears. Just like the manual transmission on GTS models, the 911 Carrera T also features a shortened gear lever. The result: sporty, short gear changes for increased driving pleasure.

Sports exhaust system.

The sports exhaust system brings impressive resonance and an intense sports car sound, typical of the 911. It has a central rear silencer, which emerges in black tailpipes to the left and right of the license plate on the 911 Carrera T.

Exterior design.

The exterior mirrors, trim strips, rear lid grille and the 'PORSCHE' logo on the doors in the accent colour Agate Grey all highlight the sporty character of the car. The two variants of the rear logo also have an Agate Grey finish, with a choice of '911 Carrera T' or the very purist '911'.

911 Carrera T interior package.

Sports interior. Numerous details such as the seat belts, accent stripes on the seat centres, decorative stitching and embroidered '911' logo on the headrests are available with a choice of Slate Grey or Lizard Green as accent colours.

Timeless design, contemporary interpretation.
The shape of the 911 Carrera is unmistakable because of its iconic flyline and elegant roof lines. These have characterised Porsche since 1963, as have sports cars with astonishing performance.

Car body shapes.

Coupé.

The Coupé version of the 911 embodies Porsche DNA in its purest form: the long, flat bonnet, the steeply inclined windscreen. And the roof line that slopes gently down towards the rear, already characterised the original 911.

Cabriolet.

The open-top variant of the 911 has always been characterised by a heightened feeling of freedom and plenty of fresh air. When closed, the Cabriolet has the elegant silhouette of the 911 Coupé models – thanks to its fully automatic fabric hood.

Targa.

The most stylish 911 model has the addition ‘targa’. With its characteristic roll-over bar and innovative roof concept, the 911 Targa is a timeless classic. And at the same time it is an open-top variant of the 911 with the comfort and safety of an enclosed car.

Design

An icon in a world full of icons.
The design of the 911 is timeless and its design language is universal, because the principle behind it keeps it to the absolute essentials, right down to the last screw. Form follows function. The 911 continues to bring this tradition into the future with its long lineage.

The exterior in detail.

A design that unites traditional and modern. That ensures more dynamism on the road. And causes a sensation for everyone who follows the 911.

Design DNA.

Typically 911: the long, flat bonnet, the steeply inclined windscreen and the roof line that slopes gently down towards the rear. The wings are more clearly shaped, the rear is powerful and clearly emphasises the horizontal.

Light strip.

The seamless light strip with LED technology between the three-dimensional LED taillights characterises the appearance of all 911 models. And makes them unmistakable, even at night.

Targa bar.

An eye-catching and defining element of the 911 Targa models: the roll-over bar. It meets the highest safety requirements and has its own iconic character: with bar trims made of aluminium, lateral gills and the original ‘targa’ logo.

Wheels.

Agile and progressive: the 911 also appears particularly athletic due to the different wheel sizes at the front and rear. The up to 20/21-inch wheels offer more stability and comfort with the larger diameter on the rear axle.

Front headlights.

The shape and position of the main headlights are also reminiscent of the first 911 generations. The latest LED technology is used inside them.

Bonnet.

The bonnet with its characteristic dynamic recess profiles – and its straight slope to the front apron – is a reference to the earlier 911 models.

Door handles.

The door handles are partially recessed, allowing them to blend extremely discreetly into the car's image.

Wheels.

Information about wheels can be found here.

Tradition meets innovation: the interior.

Analogue precision combined with digital integration. The 911 interior combines old strengths with new possibilities and, as a sports car, is one thing above all: strictly designed for the driver.

Timeless design.

Progressive technology.

360 degree 911: Interior design.

The interior in detail.

Sports car ergonomics.

The analogue rev counter is positioned in the centre of the instrument cluster and, therefore, always in the driver’s line of sight. The ascending centre console ensures short distances between steering wheel and gear lever, and the intuitively placed switches and buttons. All for the unmistakable sensation of driving a 911.

Porsche Advanced Cockpit.

High-resolution displays and touch-sensitive buttons, as well as clearly structured functions and content. Thanks to the Porsche Advanced Cockpit control concept, the 911 interior has never been so focussed. Typical sports car: the buttons, which have been consciously kept as analogue buttons, offer direct access to essential drive and chassis functions.

Instrument cluster.

Left and right of the analogue rev counter are two high-resolution 7-inch displays showing essential vehicle information on four round instruments. To display purely driving-related content, a reduced view can be selected.

Porsche Communication Management (PCM).

Porsche Communication Management including online navigation is your central control centre for audio, navigation and communication as well as for a variety of assistance systems. The latest generation also features a new display and operating concept.

Materials.

From the gear selector to the air outlet: every surface, every detail is carefully considered and in high quality. There is virtually no end to the combination options of available material and equipment – your personal taste is the limit.

Built for the road that never ends.
Every 911 has the same fundamental aim: driving. As sportily as possible. That’s why the twin-turbo horizontally opposed engine, the transmission, the chassis, the brakes and all the control systems are designed for one thing: the highest performance.

The engine of the 911 models has a twin-turbo configuration. Its stand-out qualities: exceptional power across the speed range, extraordinarily direct responsiveness and a wide torque plateau, even at low speeds. The horizontally opposed construction, with its short length, low height and position in the vehicle rear allows for a low centre of gravity. The engine mounts near the centre of the car ensure greater stability and fewer vibrations.
Turbochargers.
The engines have two turbochargers and charge-air cooling. It’s an important element of the exhaust turbocharging and greatly contributes to simultaneously increasing performance and reducing emissions.

Transmission.

8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK).

The 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) enables incredibly swift gear changes without interrupting the flow of power – in milliseconds. PDK combines a very sporty tuning in first to sixth gear with efficient overdrive ratios (seventh and eighth gear).

7-speed manual transmission.

The 7-speed manual transmission ensures an extremely direct link between driver and car: thanks to short distances with optimum connection between the individual gears. In conjunction with the Sport Chrono Package, the dynamic throttle-blip function in active Sport or Sport Plus mode ensures an even more emotional driving experience and sensational sound.

Porsche Traction Management (PTM).

All-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) optimally distributes drive force between the permanently driven rear axle and the front axle. For excellent drive and an incredibly harmonious handling right at the limits.

Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

PTV Plus is a system intended to improve driving dynamics and stability. It works with a precise application of the brakes on the rear wheels and a rear differential lock. For increased stability, outstanding traction and high agility at any speed.

Chassis systems.

More – of everything. The chassis systems optimise the vehicle features of the 911 and make it even faster, more agile and more comfortable.
