A longer wheelbase and an even wider track, the chassis on the new 911 Turbo models enables smooth high-speed manoeuvres. The car offers exceptionally high levels of stability. Its cornering agility can scarcely be described in words. Thanks to the 20-inch wheels, which are one inch larger than on the previous model.
In everyday use and in sport, the 911 Turbo models are supported by the new rear-axle steering. This makes handling much more responsive at low speeds. While, at the same time, increasing stability at high speeds.
Another key contribution to the 911 Turbo driving experience is made by chassis control systems, like Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). As well as Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) – which is standard in the new 911 Turbo S models, and available as an option for the 911 Turbo and the new 911 Turbo Cabriolet.
Agility and stability. Great sports performance and great comfort. For the new 911 Turbo models those are not contradictions, but development goals.
