What does “timeless” look like, exactly? It’s a question that seems to permeate the work of artist Max Loeffler, conjuring a distinctive, nostalgic quality which Max describes as “retro-futuristic surrealism.” Porsche commissioned Max to create a series of original posters which celebrate the brand’s legacy of design by reimagining iconic Porsche vehicles in a style evocative of classic sci-fi.

I wanted these illustrations to look like movie posters. They should make the viewer want to know what’s the story behind [them].
