Turbonite is a Porsche-exclusive color that inspired Pantone to recognize it in 2024. But the inspiration didn’t end there.
As part of our ongoing 50 Years of Turbo celebration, Porsche commissioned Australian contemporary artist Cj Hendry to create a 28x35-inch work of art built around this signature Porsche color.Born in South Africa and raised in Brisbane, Hendry initially pursued architecture before discovering her passion for art. Her meticulously detailed works – often depicting luxury objects, flowers, and pop culture icons – showcase an obsessive attention to texture, light, and shadow.Cj is particularly renowned for her hyperrealistic, large-scale scribbling technique, often created with colored pencils or black-ink pens.

Cj applied this technique to her Turbonite piece which proved to be no small feat, taking three weeks to create.
