Multipoint Inspection

Rigorous mechanical and cosmetic standards must be met by every Porsche Approved (CPO) Vehicle.

Exterior

Exterior components and modules form a harmonious overall picture with the vehicle. It is therefore particularly important to examine the body, paint, possible accident damage and other modules on the outside of the vehicle.

Vehicle documentation

A well-maintained warranty and maintenance booklet is an important quality criterion, as it conveys a feeling of security, with maintenance being an important factor in optimally maintaining the value of a vehicle. In addition, the on-board and safety equipment is checked for completeness, and whether the existing components are approved by Porsche.

Vehicle analysis

As part of the general vehicle analysis, the error memory is processed and the mileage is checked for plausibility in order to rule out an adjustment of the speedometer. An important aspect is checking the engine for overspeed. This ensures that there is no incipient engine damage.

Test drive

The multipoint inspection is rounded off with a test drive. During the test drive, safety-relevant aspects and typical Porsche driving characteristics such as vehicle performance, braking effectiveness and handling are checked. Driver assistance systems that offer a high level of comfort and safety also undergo this test.

Drive system & underbody

When it comes to the drive system and underbody, primarily technical aspects are checked that are safety-relevant and important for efficient and sporty mobility. This includes the functionality of various components such as the transmission, radiator, brakes, the fuel and exhaust systems and the chassis.
