Consistently high charging performance.

The innovative charging architecture enables 800-volt high-speed charging with up to 390 kW charging output¹, and under specific conditions even up to 400 kW charging output². Thanks to intelligent battery thermal management, the Cayenne can be charged from 10% to 80% State of Charge (SoC) in 16 minutes at suitable fast-charging pedestals, even in cold or hot conditions, or gain up to 330 km³ in 10 minutes. Range.

¹Maximum DC charging output during a single charge from 10% to 80% SoC in optimal conditions: 390 kW (CCS fast charging pedestal > 390 kW, > 850 V, > 520 A; battery temperature 15°C; starting SoC 9%; remaining range < 60 km).

²Charging performance of Cayenne in specific conditions with CCS fast charging pedestal with > 400 kW, > 850 V, > 520 A, initial State of Charge 45% - 48%, battery temperature 40°C - 42°C.

³Cayenne charging time and range added in 10 minutes for DC charging at maximum output in optimal conditions (CCS fast charging pedestal > 390 kW, > 850 V, > 520 A; battery temperature 15°C; starting SoC 9%; remaining range < 60 km), based on WLTP consumption of a standard equipped vehicle in accordance with the German market specification.

Charging Planner.

With active route guidance, the Porsche Charging Planner helps ensure long journeys are completed without unnecessary delays. The system plans required charging stops along the route and calculates charging times based on the driving profile and battery status. In addition, the battery is pre-conditioned before arrival at the charging stop, optimising the charging output and thereby reducing the overall travel time.

Two electric motors.

The all-wheel drive of the Cayenne S Electric consists of two permanently excited synchronous motors. The electric motor on the front axle with a 350 A pulse inverter is switched off while under partial load, increasing efficiency. The more powerful electric motor on the rear axle is combined with a 620 A pulse inverter, which emphasises the sporty, rear-biased design of the Cayenne S Electric.

Functionally integrated Performance Battery.

The high-voltage battery is an integral part of the body structure, increasing the rigidity of the vehicle. The newly developed battery concept with double-sided cooling is an intelligent combination of high performance and safety. A cooling plate above and below the battery ensures that it always operates within the ideal temperature range.

Porsche HV battery warranty.

Every new, all-electric Porsche is delivered with a worldwide guarantee against material and manufacturing defects on the high-voltage (HV) battery, which is valid for eight years or up to 160,000 km/100,000 miles.

In addition, we guarantee a minimum residual capacity of the high-voltage battery throughout the warranty period¹.

¹80% of the original net battery capacity is guaranteed for up to three years or 60,000 km/38,000 miles, after which Porsche guarantee at least 70% residual capacity until the end of the HV battery guarantee.
