Vehicle shown with Weissach Package and other optional equipment.

Perfectly irrational.

A razor-sharp track tool. A highly agile mid-engine concept. A six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 4 litres and 368 kW (500 PS). A high-revving concept that easily hits the 9,000 mark. Rational? Not always. Perfect? Always.

Aerodynamics.

Distinctive features: the fixed rear wing with swan-neck connection or the rear diffuser. For high downforce and high traction – and the closest possible proximity to motorsports.

Lightweight construction.

Lighter. Even lighter. Closer to perfection. That was the principle behind the concept. The result is pure performance with a light unloaded weight of just 1,415 kg.

High-revving naturally aspirated engine.

9,000 1/min, outstanding responsiveness and an incredible sound: The 4.0-litre 6-cylinder high-revving naturally aspirated boxer engine was derived from the 911 GT3.

Airbox.

Visible engine technology: the airbox has been relocated to the interior and features a re-developed air filter for a robust interior sound and optimum air supply.

Racetrack chassis.

A unique combination of racing chassis components optimised for the track. The result is high cornering dynamics, spontaneous steering behaviour and higher cornering speeds.

Weissach Package.

It can be recognised from the ‘Weissach RS’ logo, the characteristic use of carbon-weave finish throughout and the geometric optimisation of the upper side air intakes for even better air supply.

Cockpit.

The centrepiece is the 718 RS sports steering wheel with Yellow centre top marking and Black gearshift paddles with Yellow markings. They enable crisp, short gear changes, just like in motorsports.

Weissach Package.

The name is the game.

Weissach. A place where we usually work very rationally – but occasionally, we are also allowed to embrace a touch of irrationality. You might even say that we have to, because this is the only way we can develop very special sports cars like the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. And special packages such as the optional Weissach Package. The principle is consistent use of carbon-weave finish and the geometric optimisation of individual components. The typical signature is the ‘Weissach RS’ logo on the cover of the cup holder.

Exterior elements in carbon-weave finish.

Their carbon-weave finish makes the lightweight components of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS catch the eye – for example on the front lid, the upper side air intakes or the airbox and its air ducts, which are visible from the outside. The rear wing in carbon-weave finish dynamically rounds off the consistent fine tuning.

Titanium tailpipes.

The two separate tailpipes produce a sound that is guaranteed to make you smile and gets deep under the skin. The look of the titanium tailpipes is inspired by the limited edition 935 Motorsport limited small series from 2018, a tribute to the legendary 935/78 Le Mans race car.

Forged magnesium wheels.

The 20-inch 718 Cayman GT4 RS forged magnesium wheels are available in various paint finishes and save almost 10kg of weight in total. For improved driving dynamics thanks to the reduction in unsprung weight – and unbridled driving pleasure on the race track or winding mountain roads. The central lock with ‘RS’ lettering increases driving ambitions right from the start.

Interior with Weissach emblem.

In combination with the Weissach Package, the upper part of the dashboard is also covered with Race-Tex, which has been tried and tested on the track, rounding off the decidedly puristic, sporty interior – and minimising irritating reflections in the windscreen. The embroidered Weissach Package emblem on the headrests and the badge on the trim panel of the dashboard provide a clear indication of the origin.

Its heart beats in the centre. And you can hear it.

Flacht. The birthplace and home of Porsche race cars. It is also where the engine of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS comes from. Developed, tested and improved for that one tenth of a second that can be decisive on the race track.

Technical view of the 4.0-litre six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS.

4.0 litre six-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer engine.

Derived from the 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR directly: 368 kW (500 PS), maximum torque 450 Nm. The centrally positioned 4.0-litre six-cylinder high-revving naturally aspirated boxer engine is by far the most powerful in the 718 model range.

Engine technology derived from motorsports.

6 individual throttle valves supply the 6 cylinders with air for direct responsiveness and excellent dosing of the engine. It is powerful and robust thanks to a central oil feed, forged pistons and lightweight titanium con rods.

From irrational to perfect in a hundredth of a second.

The shifts of the performance-orientated 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) are fast and emotive. Even the 7th gear has a short, sporty response. The mechanical locking differential ensures optimal power transmission.

Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV).

The PTV improves the driving dynamics. The integrated mechanical rear differential lock enables higher traction and significantly improved lateral dynamics and driving stability during load changes in bends and when changing lanes.

Chassis with GT technology.

Lightweight suspension strut axles, taut springs and helper springs in combination with specific wheel mounts ensure high traction and stability. Ball joints allow particularly precise wheel guidance.

Personalised setup.

The ride height, camber, toe and anti-roll bar can be adjusted for use on the race track. The result is a race track chassis for high cornering dynamics, spontaneous steering behaviour and higher cornering speeds.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM, –30 mm).

The electronic adjustment of the damping control system actively and continuously adjusts the damping force on each wheel, based on current road conditions and driving style. The PASM has two settings: sporty-comfortable and sporty-firm.

Porsche Stability Management (PSM).

PSM is an automatic control system for maintaining stability at the limits of dynamic driving performance. The systems can be switched off completely in two stages.

Lift system on the front axle.

30mm may not sound like much, but it makes the difference at speeds of up to around 60km/h with the increased ground clearance.

Deceleration in RS style.

For fast and safe braking to a standstill: six-piston front and four-piston rear aluminium monobloc fixed calliper brakes with Red brake callipers and large Grey cast aluminium composite brake discs. The efficient brake ventilation and cooling system is specially designed for high loads.

PCCB.

The optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) with brake callipers in Yellow or optionally in Black enables high braking performance and consistent braking pressure. The brake discs weigh approximately 50% less than cast iron brake discs of comparable design and dimensions.

Perfectly irrational.

The 718 Cayman GT4 RS Club Sport exudes pure motorsports with every fibre. Its territory? Sprint and endurance races in international competitions. An all-rounder with a six-cylinder 4.0-litre boxer engine with a power output of 368 kW (500 PS).

Increased speed rush.

The feeling of never wanting to let off the gas again. Sound familiar? Then we can ramp that up now. With up to 9,000 1/min and a 7-speed PDK with shorter gear ratios that transfer the naturally aspirated engine's power to the rear axle without delay.

Thrilling handling.

The chassis, specially developed for the race track with adjustable anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles and optimised damper characteristics, ensures precision on any race track.
