And with the reveal of the new Cayenne Coupé Electric models, that inspiration is shown to be as strong as it’s ever been. Following on from the launch of the new Cayenne Electric SUV, the model range is now extended by three new Cayenne Coupé Electric models, with an exterior design that dives deep into the iconic ‘flyline’ of the 911.Three Cayenne Coupé Electric models are available at launch – the Cayenne Coupé, Cayenne S Coupé and Cayenne Turbo Coupé. Each creates a significant presence both on and off road, with a roofline that is visually different to the SUV variants, as well as a new windscreen designed specifically for the Cayenne Coupé range. The overall impact is one of sportiness in every detail, clean and modern with an adaptive rear spoiler that seamlessly flows into the body. Find out more, including why the Cayenne Turbo Coupé is the most powerful production model that Porsche has released to date (as of April 2026).The new Cayenne Coupé Electric models include the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric. The headlines will be grabbed by the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric, which is the most powerful production Porsche ever made (as of April 2026). Its output of 1156 PS (850 kW/1139 hp) with Overboost Power with Launch Control helps it accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.5 seconds and reach a potential top speed of 260 km/h (162 mph). It’s joined by the Cayenne S Coupé Electric, with its Overboost Power with Launch Control of 666 PS (490 kW/657 hp), a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155mph). The third model available is the Cayenne Coupé, which lays claim to impressive performance figures of its own. This translates into Overboost Power with Launch Control of 442 PS (325 kW/435 hp), the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). The new Cayenne Coupé models – like the Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric here – feature an unmistakable flowing flyline that draws from the design of the 911 Photo: PorscheHow the design of the Cayenne Coupé is inspired by the 911The exterior design of the Cayenne Coupé Electric is an example of Porsche DNA in action, with its roofline – known as the ‘flyline’ by Porsche – echoing the iconic shape and curves of the 911 sportscar. The result is very much a sportscar in SUV form. That sportiness is characterised by the elegant flow of the roofline over the broad shoulders of the Cayenne Coupé Electric models, a design that helps it cut a head-turning presence, on and off road. But adopting this flyline is no cosmetic exercise. There is a significant, real-world benefit too in the form of a significant improvement of the aerodynamic capabilities of the Cayenne Coupé Electric model range, at just 0.23 cd. In comparison, the Cayenne Electric SUV models have a figure of 0.25 cd. The result? The combined WLTP range for each of the three Cayenne Coupé Electric cars increases the range by up to 18 km (11 miles) compared to its SUV equivalent, depending on the model. The Cayenne Coupé Electric boasts a long range but can charge from 10-80 per cent in just 16 minutes for direct current (DC) with maximum charging power Photo: PorscheHow big is the Cayenne Coupé Electric? The exterior proportions of the Cayenne Coupé Electric models also speak for their sporty DNA, with the highest point of the car 24 mm (0.9 inches) lower than its Cayenne SUV sibling. Each of the models have significant luggage space, with up to 1,347 litres (56.1 ft³) available in the Cayenne Coupé Electric and Cayenne S Coupé Electric when the rear seats are folded. As an all-electric model, each of the cars in the Cayenne Coupé Electric range – which can be configured with either two seats or as a 2 + 1 layout in the rear – also has an additional 90 litres (3.2 ft³) space in the front luggage compartment. A sportscar it may be, but one with plenty of flexibility. The interior of the Cayenne S Coupé Electric, as with the other Cayenne Coupé Electric models, features the futuristic Flow Display that debuted in the Cayenne Electric SUV Photo: PorscheHow quickly does it take to charge the new Cayenne Coupé Electric?Like the Cayenne SUV, the Cayenne Coupé Electric features powerful 800-volt technology that offers great efficiency, intelligent energy distribution and outstanding charging performance. It means it can charge at up to 390 kW using a suitable DC fast charger and even at up to 400 kW given the right conditions. Meanwhile, AC charging speeds of up to 11 kW are available using the standard on-board charger. A 22kW charger is optionally available. And, in the latter half of 2026, the new Porsche Wireless Charging System will be available, offering brand new levels of convenience. It brings the concept of wireless charging that you’ll be familiar with from smartphones to the Cayenne range via a weatherproof charging floor plate. The charging time for direct current (DC) with maximum charging power (10-80 per cent) is just 16 minutes. The Cayenne Coupé Electric models are fast in more ways than one.Just like the Cayenne Electric SUV, the Cayenne Coupé Electric models feature adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. The dynamic capabilities of the car are evident whether driving on or off road Photo: PorscheWhat is the Lightweight Sports package option in the Cayenne Coupé Electric?Exclusive to the Cayenne Coupé Electric models is the Lightweight Sport package option which can reduce the weight of the car by up to 17.6 kg (39 lbs), depending on the model. It’s a package that ups the ante when it comes to sportiness. Highlights include a lightweight carbon roof and sporty carbon inserts. The 22-inch wheels are specific to the Cayenne Coupé Electric and feature high-performance tyres. The sporty nature continues in the interior with seat centre panels trimmed in the classic Porsche pattern cloth, Pepita, and roof lining in Race-Tex headliner as well as open-pore carbon surfaces. Black leather upholstery and a 2+1 rear seat system is a further option for the Lightweight Sport package.
