The story of the Taycan Turbo S “Soho House One”The car is a unique collaboration between Sonderwunsch at Porsche and Soho House. Individualisation is a key factor in the Porsche offering for its customers – the highest form of which is Sonderwunsch. It’s a programme in which engineers and designers work together with a customer to create finely crafted bespoke vehicles that is the ultimate in personalisation.Sonderwunsch worked with the design team at Soho House to create a car that reflects the look, feel and ambience you find at the houses. “The goal was to bring the Soho atmosphere into a Porsche in a way that felt authentic to both worlds,” says Claas Hoops, Director of Sonderwunsch. The Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo was chosen because of its modern, powerful and progressive character – one that perfectly reflects the values of Soho House. From there, Sonderwunsch and Soho House worked together to design exterior and interior colours, surfaces and fabrics that are warm, refined and highly distinctive. The resulting car delivers a bold expression of the Soho House design language, reinterpreted by Sonderwunsch in its customary distinctive way.

The exterior of the Taycan Turbo S “Soho House One”An immediate impression is made by the exterior paint of the Taycan Turbo S “Soho House One”. This Porsche Paint To Sample Plus colour – called Greekstreetgreen (61H) – was developed by Sonderwunsch and takes its inspiration from the colour of the first-ever Soho House establishment in London’s Greek Street. This colour is transformed into a full-surface matte finish and enhanced with carefully executed design elements. In another expression of the typical Soho House design language, there are several details on the exterior of the car in a Soho House One Brass colour. You can find it on the Turbo S model designation on the rear of the car, the fine coachline (a decorative line along the bodywork) as well as the Soho House logo – its nine squares within a larger square representing the window layout of Soho House in Greek Street – situated above the taillight strip. The panoramic roof with Variable Light Control incorporates the highly individual triangular Soho House One pattern design. A unique element that’s a nod to the Soho House tradition, it connects with details throughout the car’s interior. The Taycan Turbo S “Soho House One” also features an exterior SportDesign Package in Monteverde Metallic, with 21-inch Mission E Design wheels in the same colour. It all comes together to create a look that’s relaxed and elegant in a clear expression of the Soho House identity.

The interior of the Taycan Turbo S “Soho House One”Naturally, it’s a theme that continues when you move inside the car. Sonderwunsch considers the materials they use in a car’s interior as a distinct emotional tool. They are not just there for aesthetic reasons; they are to be felt and touched. Inside and out, Sonderwunsch worked with materials and motifs inspired by those found across the Soho Houses. The newly developed Soho House One fabric for the upholstery is a distinctive Soho Home Murphy Jacquard, inspired by the Soho Home interior range created to mirror the look and feel of Soho Houses around the world. Its yarns were dyed precisely to the specified colour tones of the Murphy Jacquard for an authentic and refined overall aesthetic. The pattern creates a connection between the panoramic roof with Variable Light Control, floor mats and interior as a whole. This striking pattern also features in the seat inlays and deep pile carpets in Truffelbrown, a colour that carries through to the leather edging and stitching. The interior also features bespoke burl wood detailing throughout, a signature material found throughout the Soho Home range, to further heighten the feeling of warmth and comfort.
