Austria/USA · F.A.T. Ice Race · 27 January (Austria)/8-10 February (USA)There’s few things more fun than putting a car through its paces on snow and ice. And there are few better places to do that than at the F.A.T. Ice Race, held early each year – weather permitting – in beautiful Zell am See in western Austria. First held decades ago, the event was recently revived by Ferdi Porsche, of the Porsche family, in 2019 and has since re-established itself as one of the most exciting automotive events around. A great way to have fun in the snow, whether you’re driving or spectating. As well as displays of rare and exotic cars, pro and amateur drivers take part in a variety of race classes, like four-wheel and two-wheel touring cars, buggies, sidecars and skijoring (where the cars pull people wearing skis!). This year, this speediest of winter festivals welcomes a brand-new venue, alongside Zell am See, as it heads to Aspen, Colorado in the USA in early February. Both events will be paying tribute to the ’80s and ’90s and the golden age of ski resorts – so don’t forget to bring your best retro outfits!USA · SXSW Music Festival · 8-16 MarchSince 1987, SXSW in Austin, Texas has been exploring the intersection between technology, creativity and community. Which is exactly why Porsche is heading back there for its third year. Like last year – where art cars and Porsche-inspired art from the likes of Chris Labrooy, Daniel Arsham and Vexx were on display – it’s set to be another busy week for Porsche with eye-catching installations and Porsche art on show in the event space.

USA · Luftgekühlt · TBCLuftgekühlt is an evocative and nostalgic celebration of Porsche air-cooled heritage, held every year in the USA. As well as a passion for beautiful, air-cooled Porsche models, it also acts as a showcase for engineering science, art and plenty of storytelling about a brand that has so much to recount. And just as important is the chance to connect with like-minded enthusiasts. What’s not to love? This year’s host city has yet to be announced, but wherever it is, you’re guaranteed an intriguing and immersive show.France · 24 Hours of Le Mans · 12-16 JuneLast year was a special one for the world’s greatest endurance race as it celebrated its 100th anniversary. But there’s plenty to look forward to at the 2024 event too, particularly for Porsche, as the Circuit de la Sarthe welcomes the new GT3 class for the first time. Here, Porsche will be pressing the 911 GT3 R into action. At the time of writing (December 2023), the exact names of the Porsche teams competing are yet to be decided, but the top teams competing in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and American Le Mans Series (ALMS) have a good chance of being invited. There is also speculation that Pure Rxcing will enter another 911 GT3 R after winning the GT World Challenge Bronze Cup. Keep yourself updated with news by checking in with official Porsche Motorsport channels between now and final race weekend.

UK · Goodwood Festival of Speed · 11-14 JulyThe Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the most prestigious and anticipated events in the motorsport calendar – and one where Porsche is usually front and centre of proceedings. The Festival of Speed is a celebration of cars very new and classic, from motorsport to the road, with the famous hill climb the centrepiece of the action.
