Playful, bold, and full character. On 22-23 November 2025, Porsche and contemporary artist Kasing Lung are coming together in Dubai to surprise fans of art and design with a unique installation
A fusion of worlds  Kasing Lung’s artistic universe is a vibrant playground of fantasy and whimsy for his mischievous characters, known as The Monsters. These characters have taken the world by storm, with King Mon leading the way.  Labubu, his best-known creation, is adored for its wild grin and adventurous spirit. On the other hand, King Mon, the leader of the series, embodies power and confidence. These values echo the Porsche approach to design: purposeful, enduring and full of emotion.

At Icons of Porsche 2025 in Dubai, the collaboration between Porsche and Kasing Lung will reach its pinnacle, with the fusion of Lung’s fantastical universe and the iconic design of the Porsche 911 Targa being showcased. The event unveils the art car and exclusive art collectible celebrating the model’s 60th anniversary, presenting the tangible result of this creative partnership.  “Having one of my characters in a car for the first time and reimagining the iconic Porsche 911 Targa was truly inspiring,” says Kasing Lung. “When I was a child, I had a very good friend, and his parents had a 911. The first time I sat in this car, I was like 'Wow!' I cannot forget that!”

More than just a collectible At the heart of the Icons of Porsche collaboration is a one-of-a-kind art piece made of metal. It features King Mon, the bold leader of The Monsters, cruising in a classic 911 Targa – a scene imagined and brought to life by the contemporary artist himself. Each sculpture is limited to just 60 pieces worldwide. It’s available for purchase through How2Work, with delivery planned for early 2026. King Mon is known for looking out for others and carrying himself with quiet confidence – traits that fit the Targa perfectly. When Porsche introduced the Targa in 1965, complete with its distinctive wide roof bar, it created a new kind of 911 – one that offered the freedom of an open-top car while providing the comfort and reassurance of a coupé. It's this blend of character and protection that connects the Targa and King Mon so naturally.
