Created by the Sonderwunsch programme at Porsche, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie have inspired one-on-one cars in the form of a 911 Carrera T, 911 GT3 RS and 911 Targa 4 GTS respectively.The Toy Story films have been making people of all ages smile for over 30 years. And now they’re set to excite fans in the form of a trio of models based on the iconic Porsche sportscar range. As Toy Story 5 hits the world’s movie theatres in summer 2026, here’s a dive into the details of these one-of-one cars that have undergone extensive personalisation from Sonderwunsch and will ultimately benefit three charities.These three special Porsche sportscars, inspired by beloved Toy Story characters, have been created by the Sonderwunsch programme at Porsche to celebrate the release of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 in movie theatres. The highest form is the Sonderwunsch programme – and it was here that the three 911 models underwent a dramatic transformation, in collaboration with Disney and Pixar, using specially designed and developed materials.This, along with the exceptional craftsmanship and innovation on display in each of them, are sure to attract huge attention when they are sold as part of a charitable initiative, helping support Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation.911 GT3 RS • Inspired by Buzz LightyearWhat model could better represent the larger-than-life presence of Buzz Lightyear than a 911 GT3 RS? With its striking identity and out-of-this-world performance, this 911 GT3 RS with optional Weissach Package was transformed into a visual feast, notably by adopting the colours of Buzz’s signature white, green and purple spacesuit and the car’s prominent rear wing, which have been designed to portray the character’s pop-out wings.The wing is painted in white and Fire Red stripes with the struts in Light Sport Grey. For the main car’s colour, there are accents in Green Yellow and Lizard Green across the vehicle, including the bonnet and front and rear bumpers. The magnesium wheels – an option with the Weissach Package – are painted in white, with a standout feature being centre hub caps featuring Buzz’s Space Ranger logo, which were designed by Pixar Animation Studios production designer Bob Pauley.The bespoke Goodyear tyres of the 911 GT3 RS incorporate custom-made sidewall ‘Lightyear’ lettering, among other ‘easter eggs’. This theme of fun and intrigue filters through all three of the cars. The car also boasts Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes with black callipers and a front-axle lift system, an electro-hydraulic feature that can raise the car’s front end by around 40mm (approximately 1 and 9/16 inches) when negotiating ramps and kerbs, for example.Out of this world. Its seats, door trims and dashboard are upholstered in Pebble Grey leather and Arctic Grey Race-Tex, while the upper seat parts are in Violeta leather. Green accents are found on the door opening loops, and there are Lizard Green seatbelts and green stitching on several elements, including the dashboard and gear lever. Carbon matte door sill guards adopt Buzz’s catchphrase – “To Infinity and Beyond” – illuminated in White, while Bob Pauley also designed character motifs for the one-of-one inscriptions on the dashboard of each car, reflecting their respective exclusive nature.911 Targa 4 GTS • Inspired by Jessie Jessie’s playful, energetic character is represented by a Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS that’s full of enjoyable details and delightful touches. A new paint colour called Jessie White Metallic was created especially for the project – white with a pearl overlay, it pays tribute to the iconic pearl buttons on Jessie’s shirt.The car’s front and rear fascia and lower rocker panel areas are painted in 944 Cobalt Blue Metallic, while the upper part of the bonnet and rear decklid of the 911 Targa 4 GTS feature Atacama Yellow highlights with GTS Red pinstriping – a detail also found along the side of the car. Take a look at Jessie’s cowgirl shirt and you’ll immediately get the reference. The GTS Red Targa top with bespoke light beige piping are a distinctive nod to Jessie’s hat, while the name ‘Jessie’ replaces the Targa model designation on the hoop that are such a feature of the regular 911 Targa range.Wild ride. Custom-made leather abounds throughout – this is a cowgirl we’re talking about here, of course – in Dark Night blue, Bordeaux Red and Pebble Grey, with cross stitching in Pebble Grey in several places. Leather extends to areas including the extended dashboard, sun visors and inner door sill guards.The Targa bar interior trim is another visual highlight, upholstered in Race-Tex in Bordeaux Red, a material and colour that also appears on the window frame trim, including the A-pillars. A further feature you can’t fail to miss are the floor mats, with their black and white cowhide pattern, while the door sill guards have an energetic presence, with an illuminated ‘YEE HAW!’ message welcoming you as you open the driver and passenger doors.911 Carrera T • Inspired by WoodyWoody – the dependable, much-loved cowboy sheriff – is one of the many beloved characters in the Toy Story franchise. He’s represented by a 911 Carrera T whose custom colour certainly catches the eye. While the main exterior colour is Dark Sea Blue, it incorporates Golf Blue and White to create an effect that mimics the patina and natural wear of blue denim blue jeans.Elsewhere on the exterior, the front fascia and lower rocker panels are in Coffee Black with the front spoiler lip in Aurum. The lower doors feature Woody’s name with a Fire Red graphic inspired by Woody’s handkerchief. The custom wheels of the 911 Carrera T are another standout, with hubs in the form of Woody’s sheriff’s badge.Rounded up. The Brown vintage leather of the interior is a playful reference to the wear of a toy after years of play. It appears in combination with stitching in Cognac and Dark Night Blue leather with stitching in Cohiba Brown. The front seat centres incorporate denim fabric upholstery. Like Jessie’s 911 Targa 4 GTS, the floor mats on this very special 911 Carrera T are in a black and white cowhide pattern, while the door sill guards feature the illuminated words “Ride Like The Wind”. The car itself has numerous optional features, including an extended range fuel tank, Sport tailpipes in Titanium, front-axle lift system, a Burmester Surround Sound System and Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package.Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 is in movie theatres now
