The legendary F.A.T. Ice Race returned to Zell am See in Austria for its 2026 edition at the end of January, transforming a frozen airfield into a festival of Porsche heritage, performance and culture. From high-speed skids and skijoring to classic icons and DJ sets, it was a wonderful winter celebration of the vibrant Porsche community and motorsport. Porsche Buggy 964 ‘Sportfahrschule’ The Buggy 964 ‘Sportfahrschule’, a one-of-a-kind creation from the Porsche Museum, was a highlight for many of the spectators at the 2026 F.A.T. Ice Race. Originally built as a driver training vehicle for the Porsche Sport Driving School, this stripped-down, 964-based buggy was designed to teach car control and handling dynamics in the most direct way possible. With its exposed chassis, roll bars and bright yellow finish, this playful, experimental car was driven by former race car drivers and Porsche brand ambassadors, Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister.
