380,000 pieces and 600 bricks an hour. This is what 8 tireless hands achieved in 28 days – a demonstration of exceptional speed. 50% race car, 50% LEGO. Added together, this showcases the ultimate display of attention to detail, fascination and passion.
Initially on display at the 24h of Le Mans 2015, the full-scale model of the Porsche 911 RSR caused a great sensation among motorsports enthusiasts of all generations. And rightly so, we think. Our deepest respect goes to the high-speed model builders who have proved that it's not only on the racetrack where you fight for your ideas. At Porsche we call this “The Endurance of Ideas“, fighting tenaciously for what we believe in. And here, the model builders have proved that with enduring patience and precision you can achieve much more than others believe is possible.
And now the Porsche 911 RSR is also a part of the LEGO Speed Champions Series. The new cooperation between Porsche and LEGO allows fans of the full-scale cars to express their passion in miniature as well.
