The performance-enhanced biturbo engine delivers 50 Nm more torque to the transmission than the 911 S models – with an exceptionally wide torque plateau from 2,150 to 5,000 rpm.

Sports exhaust system.

The new 911 GTS models also set new standards in terms of sound thanks to the sports exhaust system. Two catalytic converters and a rear silencer feed into two centrally positioned tailpipes in black (high-gloss). This creates a look that is more often found on the race circuit. Pure, direct, precise. The 7-speed manual transmission combines a high degree of sportiness with fast shifting. When SPORT or SPORT PLUS mode is activated, the dynamic intermediate throttle function ensures optimal engine speed – and an impressive sound – when downshifting.

Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK).

The optimised 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) is a little bit of Le Mans and a part of Porsche motor sports history. It features both a manual and an automatic mode and is available as an option for the 911 GTS models. It delivers the benefits of faster acceleration and lower fuel consumption.
