Dynamic

Fuel consumption* 911 GTS models: Combined: 9,7-8,3 l/100 km; Emissions: 220-188 g/km.

You consistently follow your own line. Even while cornering.

The new 911 GTS models are made for all those who can never get enough. Enough adrenalin. Enough driving pleasure. Enough braking into the bend, downshifting, steering, releasing the steering wheel, accelerating.

The new 911 GTS models convert even the slightest steering wheel movement into driving dynamics. GTS is simply synonymous with driving pleasure in its purest form.

Driving dynamics and performance

Sport Chrono package.

The Sport Chrono package provides an even sportier setup for chassis, engine and transmission. And catapults you into new dimensions of sportiness. The mode switch on the steering wheel, which is derived from the 918 Spyder, plays a big part here. You can choose between four settings without having to remove your hand fully from the steering wheel: Normal, SPORT, SPORT PLUS and Individual Mode, with which you can adjust the vehicle to an even greater degree to your individual driving style.

You get three additional functions in combination with the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). The first function: Launch Control. This enables the best possible starting acceleration. The second function: Race track shift strategy. The Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) is now tuned for extremely short shifting times and optimum shift points for maximum acceleration. The third function: SPORT Response. The button in the middle of the mode switch is used to prepare the engine and transmission for the fastest possible development of power. In other words, maximum responsiveness – for 20 seconds.

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).

Tested in motor sports: The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) is available as an option. For the new 911 GTS models, the cross-drilled ceramic brake discs of the PCCB have a diameter of 410 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear – for even better braking power.

Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

PASM is a system which electronically adjusts the shock absorbers and continuously regulates the damping force for each individual wheel depending on the road conditions and driving style.

Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

Standard on all models: PTV in combination with the manual transmission or PTV Plus in combination with the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). The system for enhancing driving dynamics and stability operates with controlled braking intervention on the rear wheels as well as a rear differential lock.

Rear axle steering.

Rear axle steering is available as an option for the new 911 GTS models. For even greater performance and everyday usability.

Advantage in everyday driving: At low speeds, the system steers the rear wheels in the opposite direction (counter) to the front wheels. For a smaller turning circle and noticeably easier parking. Advantage in sporty driving: During high-speed manoeuvres, the system steers the rear wheels in the same direction as that of the front wheels. This increases driving stability and agility – for maximum driving performance.

Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC).

PDCC – which is available as an option for the new 911 GTS models in combination with rear axle steering – is a system for active anti-roll stabilisation. It minimises lateral inclination of the vehicle during cornering. In addition, it minimises the lateral instability of the vehicle on uneven ground. What are the benefits? Improved driving dynamics, more neutral handling and greater comfort on the road – whatever the driving speed.

To put it simply, the tyres and the vehicle hold the road even better and you can corner more relaxed and faster than ever. PDCC thus sets new standards in terms of handling performance, ride comfort and driving pleasure.
