Porsche - One-Make-Series. Equality of chances.

One-Make-Series. Equality of chances.

The idea: equality of chances.
The implementation: everyone competes with the same material.
The material: not just any old vehicle.
A high-performance vehicle. We’ve called it the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

Fairness first!

When even the engines are sealed – and only minimal adaptions to the set-up of the race car are permitted – then it’s the best drivers, the best teams, who prevail at the finish line. Guaranteed suspense. For more than 25 years.

Over 400 Porsche Drivers on 5 continents experience the fascination of motorsports close up and personal week for week in the Porsche One-Make-Series. Whether it’s at the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup held alongside Formula 1 races, the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, which has been held since 1990, or one of the numerous other national and international cup races. The Porsche One-Make-Series are held on a total of 91 race tracks in 31 countries worldwide. From Silverstone to Monza, from Indianapolis to Spa from the Nürburgring to Albert Park. In cold temperatures as in England, or in blazing heat in Brazil or Bahrain. Barely one of the legendary and famous race tracks worldwide does not host a race for Porsche GT3 Cup vehicles.

One identical vehicle. All over the world.

The competitions involving professionals and amateurs are being held in more and more countries, attract more and more fans, and demonstrate the heart at Porsche AG’s commitment to motorsports. Alongside Formula 1, at the ADAC GT-Masters, or as an autonomous platform. One thing always stays the same: The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The same to the extent that even the smallest screw is identical, and the only difference is the driver. So that the best really can win.

Professionals and amateur drivers alike in the start formation.

There are two rankings in the One-Make-Series: overall and Pro-Am. This means that the professionals, along with ambitious amateur drivers, measure their performance in one race while fighting for points in two rankings. And while the Porsche One-Make-Series often provide young racing drivers with a stepping stone to a career as a Porsche works driver, more gentlemanly contenders can measure their driving skills with their equals as well as the professionals on some of the most spectacular race tracks in the world.

Somewhere in the world, the lights will soon be turning green again. It is not just the recent record-breaking number of advance orders for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup that points to plenty of excitement in the One-Make-Series in 2018.
